This VA clinic is highly irresponsible and should be looked into by the OIG. I have made appointments a year in advance three years in a row, and every year, they cancel my appointed due to some scheduling isshue, after I wated a year to be seen for a health isshue. The manager is very condensing and basically tells you to get lost if you ask why your appointments are being canceled. This place desperately needs new management!!!

Overall pleasant excellent caring compassionate staff. Communication on appointments and reminders is excellent. I get a text and notice in the mail. Most complaints I read are from those not familiar with how VA healthcare works. The Auburn Clinic is not an urgent care facility.

I had my first two visits this week and both times everyone who saw me was extremely kind and patient during my appointment and afterward by answering my questions and concerns. As it’s a lot of information I didn’t know what to expect but I certainly feel like I landed in a good spot with Sierra Foothills VA Clinic. 👍👍

It's the closest VA clinic to us here in Rough and Ready, CA and they are ALWAYS helpful and have been very kind and committed to helping me every time I've contacted them for the Veteran I sometimes care for.

Horrible experience!!! My husband was in intensive care out of network and Nurse Rick could care less. ABSOLUTELY NO COMPASSION! Professionally negligent as well. Refused to give me information on my husband even though Privacy Permission paperwork was in place. Dr. Lwin was unavailable by phone for over 2 weeks leaving me to deal with the nurse. We are switching providers.

The entire staff at the Auburn clinic is amazing. I've been there for 10 years and I have never found better healthcare within the VA before and I've been to Martinez, McClellan, and Mather. My doctor just retired and he was truly the best primary care I've ever had. They have never dropped the ball once in 10 years. They have advocated for me and gone far above and beyond what is required. I have Tricare and can see Sutter doctors, but the VA does such a great job that I choose not to use Tricare or Beale AFB. I would strongly suggest you see them because they are a true example of what VA care should be. They honor their veterans like no other.
