Very accommodating and helpful. The whole process for the physical was fast.

Some tips for those doing the physical: Please be prepared and have your documents ready to make it smoother for you and the clinic team.

Thank you Dr.Mehta and the team! My experience was pleasant and I love that the waiting lobby plays movies while waiting.

For patient: *if you are going to get a physical conducted at the clinic for the civil surgeon visit, having your paperworks ready just incase will make things smoother for you as well as the clinic team 😀! Always be prepared.

Overall: Highly recommend this place. Everyone was amazing and so kind.

My experience with this clinic was not great. I had my annual physical at this clinic. Before even the tests are done, the clinic scheduled the follow-up appointment. The clinic charged me for the follow-up appointment that was (1) unwarranted, (2) reason not communicated and (3) not requested.

Here is why I am giving a 1 star review.
1. The follow-up appointment was not requested by me and was scheduled without a clear medical necessity.
2. I never even wanted to talk to the doctor about the follow-up or the test result.
3. The appointment was scheduled before any test results were collected or available, indicating no specific medical reason for the follow-up.
4. I was under the impression that this meeting was purely introductory, as I had not met Dr. Chawla during my annual physical.

I value the care provided by all our medical professionals and have no objection to paying for necessary, clearly communicated medical services. I also understand that copays, deductibles, and patient responsibilities are part of any insurance policy.

Their billing practices are not transparent at this clinic and there is no clear communication about the reason for the follow-up appointment and it being chargeable. When disputing this charge, the doctor's office said that since I agreed to the appointment (which I did not know for what), I basically agree to the charges.

I recently had a Zoom appointment with Dr. Chawla, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment the session started, the staff was efficient and made the virtual check-in process smooth and stress-free. Dr. Chawla was attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to my concerns. She explained everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the visit. I highly recommend Dr. Chawla and her team for their exceptional care and professionalism. If you’re looking for a doctor who truly cares about their patients, look no further!

Dr. Shivani Chawla is the best doctor my family had ever had! She’s very meticulous about her patients and their health concerns. She always go above and beyond to make sure she gives you the right diagnosis and treatment. She makes sure our family’s health is at its best.

Don’t go to this clinic at all.
I was charged wrongfully at this clinic and it looks like they are doing this serially to multiple patients.
Reception reached out to me to schedule a follow-up to an annual visit which was only to discuss the blood report. I never needed this appointment and I was never told that I will be charged for this appointment.
Appointment was virtual and lasted for 5 mins only!
When I now reach out, the receptionist puts it on me and says that she will get me in touch with the payment department. But they never did.
Secondly, this clinic doesn’t maintain any records. I got a tetanus vaccine here and it’s no where in the records. They said we have to reach out to them even if 30 years later, I want to know when I took the vaccine.

They are technically cheating patients by setting up followup appointments and then charge you for it.
My wife went for annual checkup and her report was published, the office claled to setup appointment to go over results which was earlier thought was a process.

Later they charged us.

On calling reception, Lady name Jenny replied with smirks and laughs that you accepted the appointment and we are responsible for it.

I would highly advice to stay away from these folks as there is no integrity in their system.

Always in a hurry, billed me $150 even after confirming multiple times that I won’t be charged.

For my annual check-up, Dr. asked me to get some tests done. I asked if i needed to fast and she said not required. However, when i went to the test center, they told me some tests that the doctor asked for needed me to fast and the reports for these test would be incorrect. Since i did not have more time, i decided to just get the tests done there.

I then had a follow-up appointment with the doctor to discuss the reports. Before going to the clinic, I called the receptionist and confirmed if i would be charged for this appointment. She told me multiple times that i won’t be. The appointment hardly lasted for 3-4 min since all my reports were fine.
However, after 2 months, i get an invoice of $100. I checked with my insurance and they said the doctor billed the 2nd appointment as different from the annual check-up and that i will have to pay my minimum deductible. I contested this with the doctor and she denied that her receptionist told me that I won’t be charged. I finally paid the $100 charge (my deductible), but I won’t be coming to this clinic again.

They shared the reports over email after 4 months, post following up multiple times.

Update: Since the doctor replied here, I replied to the email thread where i had disputed the claim with the link for this review. Radio silence from the team.

Dr. Chawla is the best! She's nice, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I felt that she took my needs and concerns seriously. I came for my i693, saw Dr. Chawla who gave me great advice, and she sent me to the lab right away. The lab staff were really nice and professional too. I was surprised that I got my test results the next day. That was the most speedy service that I've ever had! Dr. Chawla, the staff, the lab, were all so fast, kind, skillful, and helpful. Price was extremely affordable, esp for the bay area. I've since recommended my other friends and family to this clinic, cause finding professional, quality service, and help is hard to find these days. I've found a great place here, where I feel comfortable and happy with my care. I'll always be coming to this clinic for all of my needs. It's a great place to get quality, affordable care.
