I've needed a family Dr for a while now. The last 2 I tried only gave me 2-5 minutes of their precious time before trying to pass me around to their other Dr buddies. Singing River Healthcare listened and talked to me like a person, not an insurance claim. By far, some of the smartest and caring people there! Highly recommend!!!!

The new staff (3/4/24) is much more pleasant to deal with. I had become accustomed to dreading my visits. I hope this crew sticks around. Best trip I've had to the doctor since gong on Medicaid.

BEWARE! The Dr/NP here has changed. I loved Dotty Hicks the last 2 years I went here and was very happy. I went today and the office was a mess, it was obvious no one knew what was going on, all the nurses and Dr/NPs are new. I was never told that I wouldn't be seen by the same practitioner that I'd seen in the past and was comfortable with. After waiting to be seen for over an hour, I ask where she was and was told she wasn't there anymore and that there were new practitioners, so I left because I didn't want to wait for another hour. I don't know where the friendly nursing/front desk staff or Hicks went but the good service left with them. Do not recommend.

I have been waiting now an hour and a half to simply have my lab work done. I have been coming here for 5 years and seldom seen the same person twice. Turnover is horrible. If I knew of anyone else nearby, I would demand my records and go there.

This place has very good atmosphere receptionist is very nice. Greets you with a smile an goes out of her way to answer any questions you have. They have a new Nurse Practioner her name is Emily Russell my fort day to see her was today and she set an let me talk an tell her all about my self an answered questions I had an I really liked how she took the time to get to know me. Looking forward to working with her on my medical needs .

Emily is a great CRNP ! She has always cared and took time with me. I have never had a bad experience ever at Singing River! They always go above and beyond to get me in when i am sick as well.

Me on phone. Im a patient here and i told him my Situation. Stuffy head and congested chest. I get it every year. Would you call some in decongestant.
Singing river... your chart says its been 6 months since we saw you so I want to see u first.
Me 6 MONTHS ?
Him... yes June 9 was the last time. Do I need to makeyou an appointment
Me...no I'll go and get some over the counter. So we hang up.
Me... called back and said when is my next appointment its supposed to bej every 6 mo. He looked on computer a said oh I see u were here Dec 9.
me..I know.
Him still got to see u
I said so six months had nothing to do with it

HE THEN TELLS ME WERE CLOSED FRIDAYS.
WHY DIDNT YOU SAY THAT IN THE BEGINNING ?. It always seems like a doctor thinks the working man or elderly,Children shouldn't be sick on Friday,Saturday,Sundays. He did say we can see u Monday. No thanks.
I'm on the third NP and have never met the doctor.

If there was a negative button I'd push it. Been waiting a month and a half for a referral on a pulmonologist. Called three times and they still haven't done it. Horrible place
