My experience overall with this practice has been great! Everyone that I’ve interacted with has been very pleasant, and my PA, Courtney, was incredibly kind and took great care to explain my options and answered all of my questions. I also appreciated how she saw me as a person and provided me information related to my specific situation that I’ve heard the contrary from previous sleep medicine providers elsewhere. She also talked me through comprehensive information about the charges that my insurance wouldn’t cover, and I left my appointment feeling like I wasn’t walking into the process of prescription and insurance fumbling blind. I’m so happy I was referred here and hope that each engagement with the office is as positive as my first!

Just had a sleep study here in Florence.
When you arrive it is locked. There is a white button on the left side. You ring this and you will be greeted by staff.
The staff member sue immediately put me at ease by her professional manner. (You can tell she has many years of experience.)
You are shown where your room is and you change into whatever you normally sleep in.
Next you have a quick form to fill in.
You are then hooked up with all the wires.
You can call out during the night if you need to go to the bathroom. In the morning you are woken up, and you leave before 7am.

I haven't slept right since may of this tear and used to very well with my machine. In may I had sat up in my sleep during an apnea event. The machine flew off the nightstand with water in it! I'm a technician who works on electronic modules quite regularly. I can tell you from experience water and electronics don't mix.
The new "doctor" i saw here at this location adjusted my machine super high after telling her I need a new machine. She said it seems to be working fine. Well that night and the night after I couldn't sleep at all with the new blow your face off settings. So I entered provider mode myself and lowered my minimum pressures. Slept like a baby for two nights straight never took the mask off in my sleep nothing. Had energy and everything. Then right back to no sleep having events.
I call three weeks later after having no sleep, hallucinations and missing a day of work. I ask if they can help me with a doctors note. The woman I see there was so rude to me I called to talk with her manager. I never do things like that.
Try to go to the Springfield office if you can. This was a very frustrating experience I was told I don't were my mask ever.. I'm the one at home using it who the f*%$ is she?!!? Unreal.... Nobody wants to help people anymore its sad man..

My credit card was compromised through this office. They never followed up with me. It took nearly six months to get a CPAP machine and now it’s nearly impossible to get replacement supplies for my CPAP machine. I never get calls or notifications saying I’m due for supplies. After being told it would be a week or two back in February, …That turned into three months. Then I was told after the three months it’ll be another week or two before I was eligible. …Ridiculous! I never received a call back after that conversation nor did I ever receive a new nasal pillow. Mine pillow was so old I could no long breathe well through it. … I finally had to order a new nasal pillow from Amazon!!! I’ve heard nothing from them since. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this office!! …My husband and both my in-laws have no issues with the places they go (all go to different places). Prompt check in’s, returned calls, new supplies as needed. There are much better options out there. Don’t go here!! I would never ever recommend Sleep Medicine Services to anyone. Spread the word!! Awful!!

I think the sleep apnea business is a racquet. “Sleep Medicine!” What a joke. They diagnose you, and saddle you with having to deal with incompetent suppliers, arguing with insurance companies, and they really don’t care at all. They charged me $32.00 for a hose that sells on Amazon for $9.00, and they didn’t even sell me the right one for my machine. They really don’t care.

Expected me to repeatedly sign my name to forms I wasn't able to see on their screen. Charged me $260 to run me around in circles and ultimately tell me there was nothing they could do for me. Nothing about my visit was welcoming or helpful.

The PA named Jessica is very unprofessional and childish. During my appt, I wanted to know about alternatives for CPAP. I simply asked her about alternatives for CPAP and she could not answer this. She got so exasperated that she told
Me to leave. The way she acted, and based on how young she is, shows that she is new and has to work on patience and study more about her position. I wish this was false, but it’s not. Go to a different sleep medicine doctors office if possible, you won’t be happy with this place in Florence. In addition , it is difficult getting a hold of them and getting any answers about various questions one will have.

I m concerned as I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea (65 api) and told my O2 levels hit 49% which is dangerously low and averaged 89% (your supposed to go to the hospitals at those levels). Yet they have not contacted my insurance company 7 days after getting my results back 3.5 weeks after my At Home Sleep study. So I have dangerously low O2 levels and they can't be bothered to do what is needed to get me at least to a safe level. I am scared and they are being unprofessional. I am using an alias as I don't want to publicly give out medical records on google. You need to prioritize patients as priority should be given to what the practice termed dangerous low O2 levels.
