terrible service. I was told twice by two, or three different social security employees over the phone how much I would get over the last couple of years. I figured it out also. But the employee that interviewed me tried to get me to take it retro, which would lower my social security by quite a lot. I told her no, because I wanted and needed the higher amount. Then she was telling me other lower amounts, as much as $200 less, She told me 3 different figures. She was dishonest about what she was doing and telling me. That was why she tried to get me to take it retro, she thought I would not know that she was trying to cheat me. I told her no, and I will see about it later. They are dishonest don't trust them.

This office is the most organized government office I have ever been too. Of course it gets very busy, but the security guard does a fabulous job of directing folks and even helps with ticket selection for those that dont read well. There are so many windows open that the line moves extremely quickly, we were in and out in less than an hour. I recommend getting in line before the office opens.

Wouldn’t recommend if you’re an international student. I had a terrible experience that almost ruined my summer. I just wanted to get my ssn to start working on campus this summer but it took more than 2 months which usually takes within 2 weeks. So I couldn’t start working this summer and it wasn’t my fault at all. I should’ve gone to the one in Thousand Oaks.
