Literally just needed a physical. And it was going to take multiple weeks a new patient appointment. Does anybody provide reasonable accommodations these days? Seems like every agency in healthcare is so jaded towards the patient. I'm a merchant Mariner and I literally might have to drive to Portland just to find a doctor's office that's willing to just give me a physical.

I’m posting from Colombia where I was attacked by a dog. The Colombians provided excellent and prompt medical care treating my wounds and starting me on the rabies vaccine course. All services cost around $40 in total including the vaccine.

I asked my wife to reach out to Sound Health to administer the final two vaccines when I return. When she called, a rude person answered and kept her on hold for 30 minutes. She called back and another person answered who said that they can’t do it - Go to Kitsap County Health. My wife calls there and they tell me I need a doctor referral or to go sit and wait in an emergency room - How terrible - far worse that a 3rd World Country and we actually pay a membership fee to get this level of unacceptable service.

UPDATE!! Since my first review of Sound Family Health, I can say that things have gotten much better!! The office staff has been very responsive and have communicated with me regarding my current appointment's and future appointments regularly and in a timely manner. The doctors have always been great but the office staff was my area of concern. They are now both at par and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!!

Let me begin by saying that the Dr Anderson (both of them) have been very gracious and good Dr's;however their clinic staff and the way the office is operated leaves a lot to be desired. It takes 4 months to make an appointment which leads me to believe that the Dr's just have too many patients in order to deal with the work load and this has transferred to the follow up that my wife and I have received.

Simple questions such as how things are billed are not answered and they become 5 minute conversations which lead me to be transferred to someone who finally provides me with the right answer or at least one that makes sense.

I was told that I was going to be emailed a sign on and password for their portal which I have been waiting for, for 2 days. My wife was told to pick up a prescription at Rite Aid that never showed up and after calling the on call Dr. to follow up on the prescription she was hung up on. The following day she called the office and no one had any record of her prescription.

These are simple task of follow up and care and I feel that the office staff is either overburdened or under staffed either way their lack of attention to detail leaves me to worry about the Dr's ability to tend to their patience especially due to the large wait time and what seems like an over abundance of patients.

This is just a small example of my frequent frustrations with their office and it has taken today for me to write this review...although hesitantly I just feel that maybe this will make a difference.

I'm currently writing this review after trying to call the office for 10 straight minutes and getting a busy signal....my frustration level is quite high.

Dr Hoffman is the best doctor that my wife and I ever had. He truly cares about each and every one of his patients and really listens to them. He fully explains the plan for treatments and fully answers any questions. The staff are very professional and friendly. They treat you like family

I have been seeing Dr. Teresa Anderson for along time now before she even went to Sound Family Health. She's wonderful, she once apologized to me for being 5 minutes late for my appt. because she was not told I was there (at her old clinic) she has never been late again or her staff.
Her staff has always been great to me from front staff, to lab, to medical staff, to refill prescription staff. I have no complaints never have @ Sound Family Health.

Since moving to Poulsbo in 2002 I am so very pleased to give my highest opinion on the quality of care provided. Dr. Charles Power has been my primary for more than 10 years and I followed him to Bainbridge without hesitation while his office was being constructed. I believe your health is your greatest asset and I'm not about to risk mine to anyone other than the fantastic staff at Sound Family Health. and they are all fantastic. I've lived in six cities in three countries and these people are easily the best in my experience. I hope you will try them, I know you will not regret it. I'd give them 10 stars if that were possible.

My Doctor is Awesome, Dr Hoffman has helped turn my life around I can not thank him enough. I've been seeing him for awhile. He makes sure I feel okay with whatever it is I'm seeing him for. Super nice and professional. I've seen many Doctors

I moved here not knowing ANYBODY! I have some chronic health issues that I was seeing my previous dr for almost weekly. I was referred to Sound Family Health a couple months after I moved here, and since then, I've never looked back. Dr. Hoffman listens to every word I say and gives me answers. He also treats me like a person, not like some lowly little patient. We have conversations like I would with someone I hang out with. He uses terms I understand. I never leave confused or misinformed. His assistant, Ashley, is very easy to get ahold of via phone for questions or help. The wonderful lab ladies are so patient and gentle. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to draw my blood, and I hate needles/blood, but they were so understanding. They had me lay down and didn't prick me more than three times. I've had nurses prick me over 11 times looking for a vein. They talked me through it the whole time, and gave me some juice afterwards to get my blood sugar up so I didn't pass out. They would've let me lay there the whole day. The front desk is always so friendly as well. I cannot say enough good stuff about this clinic. I am so lucky I was referred to Dr. Hoffman.
