The nurses and technicians that manage the light therapy are knowledgeable, kind and fun. I just finished 6 months of treatment and it was great to chat with them, making the time pass quickly. Dr. Christine Urman is a knowledgeable professional who I would highly recommend!

I have been a patient at South Shore Dermatology Physicians for around a year and half now and I couldn’t be happier with the care I receive there. Dr Herman has been helpful and transparent with any issues I’ve encountered since joining. The clinical staff and nurses are also very helpful. I receive injections every two weeks and the nurses (Brittany and Michelle) have always taken good care of me and make me feel welcome!!

I have been a patient of Dr.Schaffmeta for many years now. She is always happy and always has a smile for you when she sees you. She has customized my treatment and I’m sure she can for you too. The staff is very knowledgeable and seem very happy to be there. Michelle is the best and very professional and respectful. My experience is always pleasant and professional.

I want to share my admiration and appreciation for Dr Amy Chang. I’ve known her since she was in training in what’s now Tufts Medical Center. After a routine skin check she asked, “Is anything else bothering you, skin-wise?” I mentioned that I had an itchy bump in the middle of my chest. No weird color, no weird shape. She took it off and told me she’d call me with results. She called and told me that it turned out to be a melanoma! I am convinced that no other doctor would have taken that colorless bump off and I without her dedication and respect for this patient’s concern, I might have died from metastatic cancer. I ended up having a big surgery to have huge chunk of my chest removed, and her referral to a very skilled surgeon left me with a barely visible scar. I will be Amy Chang, MD’s patient for as long as she’s willing to hear me tell other patients how she saved my life:-)

I have been a patient at South Shore Dermatology for many years and I find the staff very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating especially Dr. Shroff-Mehta. Dr. Shroff-Mehta always greets you with a smile and listens to all your concerns. I have never waited more than 15 minutes to be seen. When I called for an appointment for a suspicious mole she overbooked her schedule and saw me almost immediately. I highly recommend this practice.

I spent my two gap years before medical school working at SSDP with all of the amazing physicians and clinical care team. These were some of the best years of my life. I learned so many important lessons and how to practice medicine of the highest quality. SSDP is a family, and I am so grateful for everyone that there that has helped to shape me into the person and student that I am today. I would have never made it to medical school without SSDP, and it will always have a special place in my heart. I worked as Dr. Shroff-Mehta's scribe for two years. She is brilliant, and is a lifelong mentor and friend. She cares so deeply for the health and wellness of all of her amazing patients. I also received several cosmetic acne procedures from Dr. Eminger, who is a fantastic physician. The learning experience, medical care, and friendships I received from SSDP are invaluable.
