I recently had an extended stay at Southeast Hospital, and I can't express enough how wonderful my experience was. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and care.
The physicians were not only knowledgeable but also genuinely compassionate, taking the time to address all my concerns. The nurses and nurse techs were incredibly attentive and kind, making me feel valued and supported throughout my stay.
I also want to highlight the dietary staff, who provided delicious and nutritious meals tailored to my needs, and the housekeeping team, whose attention to cleanliness and detail made my room feel like a true home away from home.
Every member of the team, from supervisors to support staff, demonstrated an unwavering commitment to patient care. My concerns were always recognized and addressed promptly, making my lengthy stay much more manageable.
I highly recommend Southeast Hospital—10 out of 10! Thank you to everyone for making my time there as positive as possible!

The team at the cardiac rehab facility has been great at helping me get back to my normal self. I started with them about 6 weeks after having triple bypass open heart surgery. Starting out I was hesitant to push myself too much because I was still feeling effects from the surgery, but they monitored my heart and blood pressure throughout the exercises. Each week I felt stronger and I was able to increase the intensity of the exercises. By the end of all of the sessions I am able to do all of the things I was doing before surgery. Also the education program helps with information on eating better and lifestyle changes to help with my cardiac and overall health. Thanks to Melanie, Tina, Kaye, MaryLu, Sandra, and all of the other staff for helping me recover.

My sister was moved from one floor and bed to another. She had a carved wooden prayer cross on the bed with her while in the first room and not with her when delivered to her second room. She is at the end and on comfort care. She wanted the cross buried with her. The wooden cross was especially made for her by family. We went to each floor and spoke to nurses. No cross anywhere, but they said they would look for it. Please, I hope it is found and returned to family. Please comment to this post if found.

*Update 8/12/2024* The cross was found and returned to family the very next morning to be placed with my sister. The night nurse had sent a msg and also called the laundry room the next morning. Staff in the laundry room had found the cross mixed in the sheets that had been changed from the bed. We thank you again, Southeast! ? ?

Had my 1st stress today and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. But the team of Stress Nurse Wendy and Nuclear Techs Misti and Joe made it very easy.All 3 were fantastic. Spent most time with Wendy. She was extremely professional, caring and explained everything in great detail before hand. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Wendy, my nurse was so caring, calming, and passionate about what she does. She made this stressful experience very calming and pleasant. Joe and Misti, the nuclear techs, were just as calming. Yes, I say calming because my nerves were everywhere.

Lee was awesome. I was comfortable the entire time he did my CT scan. We ended up sharing our testimonies with each other. He apologized for talking so much. I told him never apologize when giving God his praise and telling your story. He didn’t even know I was having a down day and he lifted my spirits

My care team is Dr Charles Mayes, Alex, Chelsie, and Jr. Each person on this health care team is thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them! I was treated with special care and courtesy. Each one took time to listen and showed concern for me as their patient.

I’m Berny Ramirez and came in for CT scan. Heather and Lee and another associate were prompt, professional and extremely courteous. I didn’t have to wait long and scan was completed in a very short time. I was made comfortable and was checked on throughout the entire process. I received excellent care and I thank you all for treating me so well!
