I give up. I saw Mindy (NP) 1 month ago and she only renewed a maintenance medication for 30 days. I have called and left message after message for her and Dr Haas to renew my medication and never heard back. CVS has tried to reach them and they get no response either. I don’t know what else to do. I have left reviews on health grades to try to prevent anyone else from getting caught up in their game. They are the nicest people but can’t complete one task by renewing a maintenance medication. I’m looking at decreasing my dose until I can get established with a new doctor. I am also facing possible scary side effects by suddenly decreasing the dose. They have put me in a terrible situation. I’m always on time for my appointments, follow their instructions and pay my co-pays and they can’t even be bothered to call me back.

I think this is the best doctors office ever to have as a primary care doctor. Every doctor, physician, practitioner nurse I've had or dealt with so far has been a blessing. If something goes wrong with me,my health or anything and I call and ask can I come in do yall have appointment for the day I called they've always said yes. If I could I'd give them a million stars I would. I don't think anyone could think anything bad about this doctors office. They even take time to listen to you. They wanted me to have a blood test to be tested for some pains I'm having. Test came back normal but they know I'm really having pains and said since they are no one knows why I'm having pains that I should go to a doctor to deal with these pains to have my pains checked on . They care for their patients so thank yall for caring

Dr Stokes and Ashley Pippin CRNP are awesome providers. They listen, really care, and do all they can to help with whatever issues you may have going on. I have gladly been a pt here for going on 7 years. 100 % recommend if you are in need of a PCP! Service is always at a good pace as well. I have never had longer than a 10-15 min wait (if that maybe less) and I have never had to wait longer than 5-10 mins for the Provider to make their way into the room! All staff has always been nice and respectful!

When refills are requested they shouldn't be ignored for days on in. Also when patients call to to pick up a prescription that you wont send in but we have to come by and pick up it woukd be appropriate to explain to them they will not be able to print it out on that day due to the doctor being out and not being able to sign off on the medication. Trevor McFarland is wonderful but the company he works for has very poor patient care!!! I'm to the point I'm about to just give up and start with another doctor.

The nurse practitioner Mindy was really great! It was very hard to get an appointment with the Dr. I had 1 no show appointment and a bill that they charged me too much for. I questioned the bill and today got a long certified letter that basically tells me they refuse to have me as a patient anymore! I’m so confused with these people

Dr Stokes saw me in December 2023 and 4 X more within a month. 1st visit extreme pain and swelling on right shoulder. Could not turn my head to the right. I stated it was work related. He refers me to ortho surgeon who doesn't take work comp after i waited in pain a month.! His nurse refused to get me a referral to the correct doctor.and very rude. And after 3 attempts she stopped returning my calls. I went back in and saw Dr. And told him about my need for a doc. He sent me to an " occupational therapist" I thought for evaluation due to that is what I told Dr. I needed for my work comp case. NOPE it was therapy session and she said she would speak to her managers and try to help me. I called the therapy place 2 1/2 weeks later to see why they never got back to me & they sent a request in to the doctor for a Functional Test 2 days after I left. I had to call clinic 3x to get that sent over. There are 2 occupational doctors in Dothan. I call one, leave message, no return call. I call the other " Primary care" tell my story, & They say no problem, I wait another week for appt. I go, doc wants my authorization. Long story short. He won't evaluate me. So...I go back to work comp dept lady at hughston clinic and she gets me in with a ortho doc but it's 35 days out 2 hours away, or wait 60 days to see him here in Dothan. I drive to Columbus. Dr. G says same thing as first ortho doctor. Surgery. Severely compressed spine in my neck. C3-C7. huge bulging disc.
I live in pain still to this day with my work comp finally denied due to the Dr. In Columbus writing a statement and it wasn't good enough,time was up. So December 2023- now June 18th!!! I sit home, all my Leave from work has run out, I still am in major pain, still have swollen neck on right and still no surgery. Now I have to appeal and wait some more. If Dr. STOKES would have written my note for work it could have been different. But he refused to say anything about work related and then refused to send me to correct doctor. I also saw him for a kidney issue which I only have 1 and they found 2nd cyst , compared to 1 last year. He refers me to a nephrologist and I go and it's the wrong doctor too,!!! I need a urologist , the first appt. Is August 30th! Not done- about 2 months in, i call and ask for administration offices to complain. I also get Brian's # and voicemail. 5 calls over 2 weeks and did not receive a call back. I turned in FMLA paoerwork and lady called and was very rude, said doc woukd not fill out, and woukdnt let me finish a sentence and then returned paperwork to me with writing all over it. ,"Dr stokes will not fill this out" donut for So after all this, I call just last week and ask front desk if I could switch primary doctors because I actually like the office convenience. . I ask again to speak to Admin office and get Tina and was told Dr. STOKES WAS dropping me 06/21/2024 due to an outburst! Without notice without my meds and certified letter was supposedly coming. Not received. I ask about my husband who lives on 11 medications daily for heart and he was also being dropped with no notice putting his life in danger.. Oh. And when I retrieved my medical records the information was incorrect on many important matters go somewhere else.!! Run.

I have been trying to access my patient portal account and talk to someone about my lab results for the past three days. Today, I received a call back from the clinic, but they are requesting me to visit them with a laptop just so that someone can look into my online access. Unfortunately, I do not have a laptop to bring with me. I believe that these issues could be resolved over the phone instead of taking up my time to troubleshoot them in person. I am disappointed with the service I have received and hope that others are not facing similar issues. Additionally, I have not heard back from anyone regarding my lab results, which is making me extremely frustrated.

Mindy Turner (CRNP) is one of the nicest people I have ever met! She takes the time to listen to every question and concern I have. She never makes you feel belittled or silly for how you feel. Can’t recommend her enough!
