As a 54 year old man who had neglected their health with poor eating habits, empty calories , and lack of motivation to exercise, I had gained 28 pounds in only a year and half. I was embarrassed ? to be honest . I am very thankful I was recommended to Southern Lux Health and Metabolic Wellness . The first person I spoke to was Allison Linscott (I think spelling is correct ). I explained about the weight gain . She listened attentively, put me at ease, and made an appointment to have a meeting with her and Kelly Blake. They put me on a plan to lose weight . This isn’t a fake social media post promising miracles . However . I did everything they told me to do and I went from 194 pounds to 168 pounds in 6 weeks . Yes it took discipline and following what they said. However, it WORKED! Highly recommend! ?

I just recently had my second visit with Kelley Blake. So far I have nothing but positive things to say. I personally have a hard time finding a healthcare provider who I feel as though truly cares. She actually sat down with me in the room and took the time to ask me questions. She also let me address the concerns and ask the questions I had for her. I always watch a providers face, demeanor and vibe when I ask them questions because I want to make sure that I am getting the care and respect I need in order to feel like I can trust them to take care of me and she was absolutely did not make me feel uncomfortable - not even once. She's very nice and approachable yet to the point and down to business- which is the perfect balance in my book. She didnt just come in the room and then rush to leave - which I really really really appreciate. It makes me feel good and almost relieved leaving this office and to me- that's hard to find. As an overweight person I just want to be taken seriously - no matter my size and I found that here with Lux Metabolic. I very much hope that all these feel good vibes continue. If you're reading this and you feel a little discouraged with Healthcare - I say give Lux a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Very hard to get someone on the phone. As far as getting your prescriptions, there's only one person who orders them and she's not in the clinic nearly everytime I need a prescription sent. Staff is nice but they definitely need help or have someone else send the prescriptions in!

Kelly Blake is an absolute blessing! She is extremely knowledgeable and tasks herself with finding the solutions to the root of the problem. She’s not into patching it or putting a band aid over your problems. She overwhelmed me with her and her wanting to help that I️ broke down in tears of joy. My previous provider didn’t care at all to find solutions to my problems. I️ will be a patient for life. Ehren was extremely helpful too. I’m so appreciative of her and her practice! Thanks so much!

Words fail to express my gratitude to Lux and Kelley Blake, CRNP. She started with ordering metabolic lab panels that I did not even know existed. We developed a plan together to achieve overall health and weight loss goals. Best of all, accomplished with limited Rx meds. Monthly appointments help keep me focused and on track. As physical well being is as important to mental well being, we sought out counselor perfect for my individual needs and they collaborate together. Truly feel that I am now receiving the best overall care that I ever have.

Not only does Southern Lux offer more advanced metabolic medicine, they were able to flu swab me and my husband and provide us treatment very promptly. The staff was kind and professional. Highly recommend!
