A BIG thank you to Southern Maine Hearing!! My mom had been unhappy with her hearing aids and the service she was getting from her hearing aid provider. She was discouraged by the insurance process and the months of waiting time for an appointment to be seen!

I have known Southern Maine Hearing owner, Holly Thibodeau for years. We are both business owners serving the older adult population in our community. She is a true professional who loves what she does!!

I personally got to experience their approach to service with my mom this past week. Our appointment was a VERY pleasant experience! Our questions were answered with kindness and certainty and we left feeling very informed. The follow through and next steps were clear. We left knowing we were in the right place and within a few days, my mom had been fitted with her new hearing aids. She is THRILLED and we left knowing that any future hearing needs would be taken care of by Southern Maine Hearing.

These folks are the best. Super accommodating. I had an issue with one hearing aid and they got me right in, fixed it, cleaned both hearing aids and sent me on my way - no charge. And their receptionist is the nicest lady ever. I highly recommend.

Not a fan. They have an inflated sense of importance. I went in for hearing test and to get hearing aids. It was quite obvious I needed an upgrade. After the test, I had a great consult. They can actually let you try on the exact model you're purchasing CUSTOMIZED to the results of the hearing test. I was impressed. Then it came time to pick them up. They make you schedule an appointment for a "fitting". The device comes with multiple versions of the protective cone that covers the speaker in you ear. THERE'S NOTHING TO FIT. They would rather not make a $7,000.00 sale than let you just pick them up. I’m guessing they charge for the fitting, hence the insistance on it. Going somewhere else.
