I am a retired RN. I think this place is great! The staff are always friendly, welcoming, kind, caring and professional. From what I have experienced, all the staff are very, knowledgeable they teach their patients. Dr. Schmidt, he is great, he is a teacher and shares his knowledge willingly with his patients. He is a humble and kind man but he has surety in explaining his knowledge which has been beneficial for me. I cannot say enough good things about the people that work in this facility. I say they are cream of the crop.

I have had to see many physicians with my health, my husband as well. I truly believe that God placed Dr Noffsinger in because he listens to his patients and will research whatever has him stumped if he doesn’t do now it when we come to him. He saved my husbands life when UAB sent us home (after my husband had 2 stents years ago and was complaining with chest pain) Dr Noffsinger personally made a call to a cardiologist in Huntsville and we had an appt with him the next day. The cardiologist admitted him that night and put another stent that was so calcified, he had to chisel the plaque for the stent. Had Dr Noffsinsimget not been diligent, my husband may not be here today. I have had health issues as well and he kept researching and running test until he found out the proper diagnosis. He is kind and he is absolutely correct in listening to my heart and lungs with the stethoscope touching my skin and not through clothes which they used to teach in medical school. There is too much crackling and static when listening through your clothes. He is always professional and has NEVER made me feel uncomfortable. I know accusations has been thrown at him but I feel that some women misunderstand that he is a thorough doctor, a compassionate doctor, and Southview is blessed to have him. I know we are blessed to have him as our Dr. The front desk staff, there are a few ladies that are extremely rude and show no compassion as well as the office manager. I will not name names unless it continues . The ladies who work in the back are kind and compassionate. My only complaint are the inconsiderate staff members up front. (not all but most) I am grateful to have a dr that drives well over an hour to continue to see his patients after being treated so unfairly at crmc. Dr Noffsinger is not only our dr but our friend. We will forever be grateful for him. I do believe the office manager and some of the staff could learn to be more polite and compassionate and if not, replaced. Thank you Dr Noffsinger for being a great dr. My family loves and appreciates you as our doctor. You are the best! I will add this, I personally heard a lady threaten him for mishandling her and was recording her visits only to try and sue him or have him fired because he would not prescribe her narcotics. He shows himself friendly and will
Make comments about meeting his wife and going sailing, knowing that MOST patients know that is the type of person he is and we would not go.. Those people will answer to those accusations one day. Again, thank you Dr Noffsinger . We would drive Ann hour to do him. God bless ❤️

Wonderful doctor and very knowledgeable. He is thorough, but doesn’t take forever. So nice and kind. I absolutely love the entire medical staff here, from the front desk to the the doctor. He’s so great with kids! Dr. Schmidt (Mr. Marty) will also see adults and can meet your urgent care needs. All around fantastic doctor and place!

I went today and saw Dr. Noffsinger. I was struggling so bad with my mental health that I didn't want to leave the house. He said we are in this together and I'm going to help you. He is an excellent doctor who truly cares about his patients and listens to them. Best doctor I've ever seen!!!!!

Edit:8/14/24: I've had nothing but issues getting my medication since my Dr quit and I was forced to see Dr. Marty ? I'm so done with this dr's office and will be finding a new Dr asap!!!
Do NOT go here if you need to be seen in the evening time!!! Twice already we have done walk-ins for this place because it's an "urgent care" and both times they said that they couldn't accept a walk-in because they didn't have anyone for the urgent care side because they left early. Me and my girls have been long time patients for this place and because of these problems I'll probably be seeking a new drs office

The receptionist could have been kinder to the patience and for dr. Marty he was great and my 7months experience with dr Noffsinger was rocky it started off pretty smooth except for his bedside manners with ladies in which there were too many hugs and after taking out his stethascope out of his own ears and stating he was teaching his patience to listen to their own heart and lungs.(really) them I was admitted to CRMC for withdrawels after taking me off my meds of 40 yrs.and having the office manager that was really hateful hand my dismissal papers stating I1 the reason was I didnt have a voice mail set up when they called which was not true and 2 that I didnt answer my phone that they never 1time called any other ladies had this problem if so pls pm me

This receptionist could have been a lot nicer and tried to blame us for their miscommunication, while we were discussing the miscommunication the translator started laughing and smiling like it wasn't something important, and we would not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

We had a wonderful experience today 2/3/23 at Southview! Desiree the Nurse Practitioner took great care of my brother & was very kind, time conscious, and thorough. The nurse Andrea and Julie at the front desk treated us so nicely while assisting us through the entire process. Will highly recommend to all our family and friends.
