Do not use this facility!!!! Do not let your loved ones get placed here. The OT and PT team were the only good things here.. the actual medical teams flat out don't do their job, will mess up medication times and doses, will not follow your doctor's orders and the list goes on. The nurses were always arguing, rolling their eyes and trying gaslight me into believing I didn't know what meds or care my mom needed. You will have to literally fight for you or your loved ones care and literal life. We watched her roommate die from their lack of care and my mother was left traumatized by her experience. The meals half the time were literally two pieces of bread with one piece of deli meat and cheese, and would give completely inappropriate food for a diabetic. We found out the facility had just been bought out by a corporation that clearly does not care. We transferred to another facility and it was like night and day different and I didn't have to do a thing because I could trust them to do their jobs.

Not only did my mother receive poor care, there were fences on the curtain between her and her roommate for days and despite bringing it to their attention, I had to remove the curtain myself before they would address the issue. They also are fraudulent in their billing practices and refuse to answer phone calls or emails in regards to the fraudulent bills. My mothers insurance agency called them 12 times over 6 weeks to try to figure out why they were billing us when on their end it showed paid in full and they refused to answer or return calls or emails, just co round to send a fraudulent bill. Beware.

P/T is a joke. You are supposed to have it 5 days a week. I have been here 11 days and have had a little bedside therapy and walked a ways down the hall. They have circle therapy instead where you sit in a circle and they give you info like foot care or where to buy used medical equipment. Doesn’t strengthen you much. If this ou are diabetic forget it. I have gone round and round with the dietician. They don’t carry any sugar free items in the kitchen. It took me a week to get a sugar free soda. The meals are loaded with carbs. I have given up the battle and buy what I need, which you should not have to do with what you pay here.

Such a great place to rehabilitate injuries. The doctors, nurses, and physical therapists are of the highest caliber and show a detailed level of caring for each patient. Just a simple, "Can I adjust your pillow for you?" or "Can I get more ice in your drink for you?" demonstrates the attention to detail that every person needs when recovering or rehabilitating and injury, infection, or other medical issue. Also, their focus and ability to help with Veterans shows their commitment to helping people throughout the Spokane region.

Thank you to the nursing, therapy, case management, and ancillary and support teams! You cared for my father in so many loving and helpful ways from admit for rehab and later in long term care. It was heartwarming to be greeted at the front desk by friendly staff. Nurses and aides really listened and demonstrated compassion and dignity in the way they approached my Dad. It was a peaceful environment and a blessing to also have a weekly church service for my Mom to join my Dad at. I loved how the caregivers shared their humor which my Dad liked. They made meals fun, helping my Dad and other residents as needed. The therapists are amazing. And the facility and surroundings are very nice and scenic. Thank you again and may God bless your team as you continue to help and support many wonderful patients during challenging times in their lives.

I was in Spokane health and rehab for about 23 days. The physical therapy and occupational therapy staff was amazing. And the CNAs that I had seemed to have compassion and care. My issue that I have with Spokane Health and Rehab is the nursing staff that runs the med carts is 90% agency they have no idea what is going on with a patient. They don't know the medications and dispense times. I found myself begging for my pain medication on a regular basis. The medical plan for my medication was constantly changing and I wouldn't find out that I was going to have a change until I went to request something that was there to find out that it had been discontinued. There was no communication between the facility doctors to the patient. I would highly suggest that if you have a parent or loved one recovering from sickness or surgery to take them anywhere but here.

My father has been at this facility for just over two weeks now and the staff has been amazing. The nurses and aides all tell me how much they love him and their care has made a huge difference in his recovery. He stayed at Royal Park in February and I had to pull him out after a week because the care was so bad it really took a toll on his mental health. Every time I visit him at SHR, he has someone with him in his room or he's out at the front desk with the staff. The facility is clean and quiet. Highly recommended!

My father was taken to Spokane Health & Rehabilitation 3 weeks ago, with Sepsis, Ecoli, Phenomena , and Blood Clots in the Bladder. His care was absolutely Amazing !!! The nurses, Aids, Staff and Erica who did his PT was over the top out of the park. It was a blessing that he landed there, as he got the PT he needed and was not just left in a bed. Our family would Strongly recommend this facility !
