I want to give 5 stars to my pelvic floor Occupational Therapist, Janette, at Spooner Physical Therapy in Ahwatukee, AZ. From the very start of our journey, Janette has been incredibly kind, compassionate, and understanding, making me feel safe and well-cared for. Being 6 months pregnant is not an easy time, but Janette's expertise and gentle approach have been invaluable. She has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that I am comfortable during each session, providing personalized care that addresses my specific needs.

Additionally, her assistant Emma has also played a significant role in creating a warm and welcoming environment. Together, they have made each visit a positive and reassuring experience. Janette’s dedication to her patients’ well-being is evident in everything she does, and I truly appreciate the genuine care and support she has provided.

I highly recommend Janette to anyone in need of pelvic floor therapy, especially expectant mothers who may be feeling anxious or vulnerable. Her professionalism, combined with her compassionate nature, makes her an outstanding therapist. Giving Spooner Ahwatukee 5 ⭐️’s the front desk staff is amazing!! (Thank you Rebecca & Alli for making scheduling and the check in process so smooth!!!!) but most importantly I would like to give my son’s therapist Emily and her techs 10 ⭐️’s!!!!!
A NP at my son’s pediatrician’s office wanted to refer us to see an orthopedic surgeon without having him try physical therapy. The thought of having to see a surgeon just seemed too intense for his issue, so we scheduled an appointment with Emily!
Emily is very passionate at what she does. She’s very thorough and has a ton of patience, but most importantly she makes it fun for him. She’s always giving words of encouragement and praises during his visits even while he’s working with her techs. We look forward to seeing his growth throughout his treatment and are very happy knowing he’s in good hands! Thank you Emily!! We appreciate everything you are doing and will continue to do for our son!

I wouldn't be where I am today without the help of Spooner Physical Therapy in Ahwatukee. My therapist, Jeff Lyon, has been patient, professional and positive while working with me after a total knee replacement. I have felt encouraged and cared for, they have taken my recovery seriously to help me succeed. Every single person has been friendly and welcoming. I absolutely recommend Spooner to anyone needing physical therapy--definitely 5 stars!

Hi I see Janette Kuhn's at this location, and all I can say is don't wait any longer for Pelvic floor therapy. This woman is amazing, compassionate, and dedicated. I'm so glad I found her and you will be too! The other staff here, techs and admin have been exceptional as well!

Pros:
-Skilled PT tech (AJ), clean facility, well-maintained equipment, friendly front office staff.

Cons:
-My condition worsened over 16 sessions, as my main recovery goals were not met.
-Care quality was poor due to an inexperienced PT, Emily Nettleton, who had less than a year of experience. Despite assurances that she was qualified to handle my injury, her lack of experience led to three separate flare-ups, further delaying my recovery.
-Performed a new technique without informed consent, causing a serious setback. This lack of communication felt negligent, and I discontinued my treatment with her after this incident.
-Medical records were poorly documented and included irrelevant personal details.
-No accountability for injuries; Emily often dismissed my pain and even left me mid-session, passing me to a tech who could not assist. Though Kenny Sargent initially listened to my concerns, Spooner ultimately dismissed my complaints and took no responsibility for the injuries.

Working with Madison, a Physical Therapist has been improved my back issues. Her expertise, personalized approach, and genuine care have significantly improved my mobility and reduced my pain. I can't thank her and Taylor enough for helping me. Highly recommended!

I was referred to Spooner by my oncologist after breast cancer treatment. Everyone at the Surprise office is great but I primarily worked with Amanda who was able to narrow down the specific spot treatment for my situation. She is amazing and honestly it has been life changing to have my body feel a little more “normal” again. I’m forever grateful!
