Overall a clean well maintained facility. I was disappointed in what they considered a pulmonary rehab program. I was hoping to get education from the staff for my mom. Teaching her how to exercise and how to breathe through exercise and helping her with every day activities.
What we got was her hooked up to a heart monitor and oxygen and we were handed a sheet of cardio exercises. I let the staff know it was her first time and we had no clue what to do. They came and helped her on the equipment and said do it for this amount of time. Report back to the desk and take your oxygen and tell us your exertion levels.
My thought was, is this it? This is the whole program?
It wasn’t a horrible experience, but I would love for this are to get an honest to goodness pulmonary rehabilitation program that included nutritional education, breathing education and exercise. We disenrolled her because as my mom said they were not doing anything for her we couldn’t do at home so why waste the visits. When I called to take her out and the staff asked why they didn’t dispute my assessment and say anything more was forthcoming so I’m pretty sure that is all you get. Oxygen, heart monitoring and a sheet of exercises.
If you are looking for a clean gym with some medical staff and monitoring it’s a great place.
I don’t recommend for the pulmonary rehab though.

The entire staff goes over and beyond genuinely caring for all patients that attend the St. Francis Wellness Center. I love their positive spirits because they help my mom give the extra effort in accomplishing her goals set for herself.

The heart rehab center is outstanding. If you have any heart surgery I HIGHLY recommend you follow through with rehab here. The staff is very professional and attentive to your every need. They are always willing to help and it is very clean and sanitary in there.

Love this place! All employees have degrees in exercise science. They have a nurse present and monitor heart and blood pressure if necessary. Adequate and varied cardio, free weights, and resistance equipment. They have classes with instruction as well. Must be 40 to join, 55 and older can join for $25 per month, great value.
