This hospital investor ownership treated my father with no dignity or compassion. They actually decide from a satellite location who gets out of the emergency room to go upstairs into a regular room. My father was shoved in a hallway in the corner left to die with a thin cheap sheet. He had a stroke & couldn't speak. The nurses had to finally call 911 to get staffing help. We know people that work in hiring. The hospital lied & said they couldn't find nurses to work. Facts are they were trying to cut costs to make up for what they lost on outpatient care surgeries from the pandemic. In addition, not enough rooms were built to accommodate the community, again to save cost & focus on profitability of outpatient surgeries & birth center which makes the biggest profit. Many long time nurses, our family knows quit due to the poor working conditions & lack of support. Our family is traumatized by what we experienced & would never put another family member in that hospital.

Nice nurses and doctors that know what they are doing. However, the employee that greeted me when I arrived in terrible pain was beyond rude. I was wearing an N100 mask from work because I didn’t have any N95s at home. I wore it to protect others as I was very ill. After giving me nothing but extreme attitude, she put in the notes that I was “wearing a gas mask.” The fact that a hospital employee can’t identify an N100 mask is kind of scary.

Anyways, onto billing. I was only there for 3 hours and they charged my insurance over 20,000 dollars. I had to pay a big chunk of it. Absolute crazy prices. My visit was over 8 months ago and I am STILL getting random bills for varying amounts from this place. I’m not paying another dime. American healthcare is so so bad these days. The financial stress of getting sick here is literally bad for your health.

My partner was transferred from Urgent care to this hospital for surgery. They were simply wonderful, everyone that came to talk to us and help my partner always introduced themselves and informed us what they were doing which put us at ease knowing what was happening at all times.
My partner has extreme anxiety and did not like pushing the call button for assistance. The staff made sure to remind them often to push it for any help and asked if they needed anything every time they checked on them. Super attentive and caring. It really put us at ease knowing there was always someone to help if anything happened.

I wanted to take a moment to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Michael’s for taking such good care of me on Thursday. I was brought via ambulance to the ER, and after a number of tests, I ended up needing surgery. I was treated with kindness and compassion the entire time by everyone working that day. One of the nurses even brought out this awesome dinosaur activity box for my friend’s son while they were in the waiting room with me. 💕 It’s a relief to know there’s awesome care there if I ever need to return in the future. Thank you, St. Michael’s!

The problems right now That there’s a ton of construction and that there’s no rooms Reason the emergency room is full customers no room at the hospital to try to make room for people. They’re still building the darn hospital and for that I don’t blame them give the hospital a chance you won’t regret it after all they help my family A lot Again, say about the problem is if the construction they’re still building the hospital everything else is awesome. They’re wonderful people there. They make sure You are discharged in no time This review was to to boost up their score because I hate people Bringing down places that did not deserve it So if your family member can’t get a room in the hospital and They are in the emergency room. It’s the construction. I Do not blame Them at all for the situation they’re being dealt with thank you Saint Michael’s

My brother had ALS and ended up in the emergency room at St Michael’s. He received excellent care. The nurses and doctors were very attentive. He passed away in a few days. They were supportive, let his family be with him 24 hours a day and couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful with some hard decisions. My brother felt in control of the end of his life.

Update:::::for surgery center: Excellent. Wonder staff and care 10 out of 10!!!!!
For ER! Horrible. Disgusting rude receptionist right now. My family member came in with full-blown gallbladder attack. Was on the ground puking. They stuck her in waiting room and said it was a 4 hour wait. So she went to st Anthony's desperate for help. They sent her back and she's been there 3 hours. Social worker ignoring them two hours. I'm filing complaints with proper authorities. She needs to lie down. The receptionist was snippy ride pompous uncaring and yes I lost it on her. I'll be speaking to an attorney. My family is still sitting their. No patient advocate is there. I asked to talk to charge nurse. She said no. They came from st Anthony's with admission Papers room unattended for 1 hour. Supposed too be admitted

I have taken my mom here many times for various procedures over the years. (We're here now, actually.) The facility is clean, the design is uplifting, and the main lobby is gorgeous! Cafeteria food is decent. Every visit has always been pleasant with staff going out of their way to make my mom comfortable. The nurses and assistants are both friendly and professional. We appreciate that they're willing to engage in fun banter, and aren't overly robotic. Today my mom was blessed to be cared for by Ben, Karley, Chelsea, and Liumi. They each have wonderful and sweet personalities, and they seem to enjoy their jobs.
The only "negative" thing we've ever encountered here was a less than cordial receptionist, one time, a few years ago.
So I'm happy to give this place a "highly recommend".
