I was hospitalized here from April 21 to April 24, 2025, after being transferred from Palo Alto due to complications related to cystic fibrosis and a viral infection. Overall, my experience was a mix of compassionate care and areas that could use improvement.

The doctors and several of the nurses were truly empathetic and supportive. They took the time to listen, explain things clearly, and made me feel like I was in capable hands. That kind of care makes a huge difference, especially when you’re going through something physically and emotionally tough.

That said, I wish all of the nursing staff had shown the same level of kindness and support. While some were attentive and thoughtful, others felt distant and less engaged, which added unnecessary stress during a vulnerable time.

The facility itself was clean and well-equipped, and the transfer process between locations went smoothly. I appreciate the care I received from the medical team and hope that going forward, all patients can consistently experience the same level of warmth and attentiveness across the board.

I would recommend this hospital for its medical expertise, but I also hope the entire staff continues working toward providing more consistently compassionate patient care.
