They are not accepting new patients, so I ended up going to their Urgent Care department. Christina Lee, the P.A., is AMAZING & so helpful. I wish she could me my primary. If you want to be a new patient at Hayward, first you have to go to meet with a doctor at another location, and then they will transfer you to this location. I love my new doctor at San Ramon, so I decided NOT to transfer...but the Urgent Care is great at the Hayward location.

I tried to get my blood test done in the morning. It seemed like there was only one phlebotomy technician working. It required appointment to get blood draw. And then one patient came after me without appointments got blood draw first. I don’t like that waiting area they did not even provide water or snacks. Receptionist attitudes are not good either. I will go find a different provider in the future.

They don’t have doctors in urgent/express care here which is unfortunate. There should at least be a doctor onsite and patients should have a choice. Unfortunately, healthcare systems have been trying to force a new model to make up for the lack of residency spots and doctors.

I had to use the Urgent Car at this facility on a Saturday. When I called the Stanford Hospital appointment desk, they forwarded my call to this facility. But no one ever answered. Then the Stanford Hospital appointment clerk told me that I can drop by too. When I drove up there, the nurse said the the visit was for appointment only. Here is my big question: if no one is answering the phone, how can anyone make an appointment?

They have rotating physicians after the main physician left. Specifically Dr Fantaye was HORRRIBLE!!! He didn’t listen at all and discounted my lived experience and his notes in my chart are a LIE! Do NOT see him if you care at all about your health. He uses his “expertise” as the end all be all to human existence and he is wildly off base. I’m so glad I ended up moving. I’ve NEVER had such a bad experience with a professional doctor. In fact this is my first time reviewing a physician so others dont have as bad of an expense as i did. Even the other doctor who reviewed my recent lab work without seeing previous lab work or meeting with me made determinations on my health and medication. Terrible experience. Staff is nice. Only reason they deserve one star. I hope they find a better doctor.

My last review was totally wrong and I apologize. I will continue to get my lab work here. Lab Corp completed all tests appropriately and it was my RN's MISTAKE who apparently only looked at the result of the B12 test. I was lucky not to rush to fast again and have my blood drawn again. Procrastinating paid off as all of a sudden I got a message from my RN explaining the test results. I do not think she realized that her mistake led to my erroneous review. I will continue to visit Stanford Partners for my lab and radiology appointments.

The following was my last and erroneous review.

Extremely disappointed. This place is going down hill fast. Their lab, LabCorp, had a blood test order for a complete panel, my yearly panel and all it tested was my vitamin B12, which means I will have to make another appointment, fast again and get my blood drawn again. I find their mistake unforgivable as staff was definitely not paying attention.

Absolute disgrace to Stanford name! We know it's a busy season, we called in advance to confirm we can do a walk-in and be seen. On the app it says place is open till 8pm, on the call we were told walk-ins accepted until 4:30pm. We called around 3pm, and we got there by 3:20pm just to be rejected because "she" is not taking walk-ins anymore today. The receptionist was fairly inconsiderate and had zero compassion. What happened to Stanford patient care standards? Stop partnering with those "care" shops who found a gold mine of harvesting insurance money, making healthcare even more unaffordable with lowest levels of patient care. We went to Sutter Urgent Care next door and were seen in 30mins.

Please avoid Dr Johri at your own risk.
On 12/20/23, She was unprofessional and hostile during a video visit. After repeatedly yelling at me, she hung up on me while I was trying to explain the reason why I needed her medical attention. This is the second time, I have experienced this cruelty.
I have complained about this doctor during my last office visit on 08/17/23.
She was nice to other patients, but she was very mean to me.
The hospital didn’t reprimand her. She is the cruelest doctor I have ever met in my entire life.
