The staff is so lovely and patient. I was treated with sensitivity and caring. The provider was knowledgeable and listened to my concerns. I never felt rushed. They took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions. Booking a space was easy and the wait time was minimal. Thank you so much! You made a difficult situation so much easier.

Below average = 2 out of 10. On Saturday, March 1, 2025, I was given an appointment for 4:20pm. I arrived at 4:18pm. However, no one at the reception desk for checkin. I waited for several minutes before a receptionist came out to help. Staff were friendly and ok.
Next, I was called back to the room at 4:35pm. One of the staff members took my blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen levels.
Then, I waited 5 more minutes before the doctor came in at 4:40pm.
The doctor didn’t truly try to assess my situation. He looked at my problem from a far - immediately said he won’t try to treat it. He told me said go to the ER or wait
to go to my doctor on Monday. Doctor left the examining room at 4:46pm. He did not return to the room to give me a final recommendation. A member of the staff handed me an envelop papers but did not explain to me what the papers were for or what was the content of the information on the papers. Lastly, they smiled and pointed to the arrow on the wall - which was
the direction to the way out of the office.
I left the Stat Med office at 4:50pm.
Less than 7 minutes later, in the parking lot, was the doctor that had just briefly saw me He had changed into a track suit -
I said good bye. However he avoided eye contact with me ignored me and continued to
keeping walking right passed me. My impression was that he rushed my appt so
that he could get out of the office before
closing time (5:00pm).

I will never go back and will not recommend this place to others. I knew I should have gone to the John Muir Urgent Care. I will recommend John Muir’s Urgent Care to all my friends and clients.

I appreciate having STAT MED as a convenient option. This is our 3rd visit for my 18 year old son. The last 2 visits I would rate 5 stars. The reason for my lower rating this time is because of the provider, a physician assistant.

She has a very dominating personality, and made a very quick judgment without listening to my son's history, saying what she thought my son's problem was. ( and she was wrong). My son had red and inflamed skin around his eyes. Right away she said it was an allergies, and even though when he said he doesn't have allergies, she kind of mocked and challenged him, basically telling him that he was wrong and that he does have allergies. She didn't ask any additional questions, but just jumped right to that diagnosis/conclusion, when my son and I both knew she was wrong. I gently interrupted, and rhetorically asked if allergies would cause his eyes to itch, and she said yes, very badly. My son told her that his eyes don't itch at all.... So then she adjusted her thought process and said it was blepharitis. The bottom line is she should have asked more questions BEFORE she jumped to the conclusion about allergies. **If my 18 year old son had been there by himself and I hadn't intervened, she would have treated him for the wrong problem**. That is my #1 problem with this practitioner.

In addition, she started talking about different over-the-counter medications, and rattling off four or five available options and saying which she thought were the best. As an adult, I am familiar with all of the medications she mentioned, but as an 18 year old adult, my son has never heard of any of these medications, and it's like she was very quickly speaking Greek to him. So my 2nd criticism about this practitioner is she does not speak well to young adults. She might not intentionally be trying to speak over his head, but she has no concept of how little an 18 year old knows, so once again, I feel like if I hadn't been there, the whole appointment would have been a total waste.

Young adults need to start learning to manage their own health care, but it doesn't happen overnight, and rather it is a process. This practitioner needs to slow down, listen more, and again slow down, and explain in a way that a young adult can understand.

Front desk guy got irritable with me when I asked if he found my son in the system. Doctor had zero EQ. Son has the flu, they prescribed tamiflu and anti-nausea then sent it to a pharmacy that had already closed for the day.

Our family LOVES STATMED! We are always seen quickly, the staff are efficient and polite, the medical practitioners are good with small kids, and we are usually out the door in less than an hour. Highly recommend.

I was seen almost right away and really value the care and attention I received. Both the doctor and assistant were very nice and attentive. I would recommend this location and will return if I have any further issues.

My cat scratched my eye. I got in quickly and was attended to by a very kind and competent gentleman- I think his name was Connor but not sure. Super nice.
Walked out with a prescription and feeling better already.

Though I was able to get a same-day appointment, I now think Urgent Care refers to how quickly the doctor comes in and out. He never looked at my throat- said I have what everyone else has. When he left I asked the nurse to have him come back to actually look at my throat. He stood 4 feet way, said open your mouth, did not use a flashlight or anything! His comment was “Yup, your throat looks like every other throat. Goodbye.” Not the exam I expected.
