Stay at Home Senior Care provided exceptional support for both my mother and father during a challenging period. About three years ago, my mother’s dementia began causing her great anxiety such that she clearly had inner turmoil, resulting in significant hyperventilation for much of the day. This was obviously a very difficult time for her as well and my father. My dad then called Stay at Home Senior Care who provided immediate help. Kellie initially came out several times and was very compassionate and helpful from the start. Kellie saw the difficulties my parents were going through and provided several different caregivers for my mom. They were all exceptional - but Kellie found one caregiver, in particular, who seemed to work well with my mom and could ease her anxiety. Thankfully, the anxiety phase of my mom’s dementia lasted only about six months. After that, she was back to her friendly, happy and joyful nature that she had all her life. Our dedicated caregiver from Stay at Home Senior Care continued and has been with us for several years.

Additionally, I should say that during the difficult time of my mom’s anxiety, we were also trying caregivers from another company (on different days than Stay at Home Senior Care). While there were a couple good caregivers from the other company, there were several from that company who were awful (for several reasons). However, ALL the caregivers from Stay at Home Senior Care were wonderful. I know that Kellie screens her caregivers and makes sure that they are all good, compassionate and reliable people. Kellie really does care about her clients and her caregivers. I know that her ultimate goal is to help people in difficult circumstances – and she has definitely helped our family.

Kellie Guinto of Stay at Home Senior Care came highly recommended by a friend/neighbor. I needed immediate 24-hour care for my father who was quickly deteriorating from cancer. Kellie was able to immediately put a team in place that could meet his needs. I was struck by the quality of the caregivers and their genuine care for my father. They each brought something different and valuable to him. Kellie was always available in a moment's notice to help out when needed. She would magically appear at my father’s house when he needed to be rushed to the hospital and would spend hours in the Emergency Room with the caretaker and myself. She would go over to my father’s house just to check on him, and at all hours of the day/night come to the aide of the caretaker if they needed assistance. Kellie would additionally work shifts if caretakers were not available and developed a friendship with my father. This level of care and support was unexpected and paramount in helping us get through this difficult time. My father passed away four months after I employed Stay at Home Senior Care and I can genuinely say that Kellie and her team made his final days the best and most dignified they could be. Look no further at any other agency because you most likely will not receive the same level of care!
