I ended up moving out of state and had a lapse in my medication where I would run out by around 3 weeks to a month. While that’s partially my fault yes but I called this office explained what happened and if they could send me in 3 weeks worth at the least. The medication is lexapro which it’s not good to quit cold turkey. They refused to lend any assistance. They refused to give me even 3 weeks of my medication they told me I needed to come in. Mind you I MOVED OUT OF THE STATE. When once again said that and requested a short term refill they claimed they would call me back and never did just completely ignored me. My anxiety has been extremely bad and I am doing unwell and not able to function properly day to day thanks to these “ medical professionals”. Absolutely horrible people here. They treated me as though I was looking for hard narcotics when all I wanted was to be able to functional day to day until my new appointment.

This internal-medicine office has many physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. I had an appointment with a nurse practitioner. An office employee kindly greeted me and checked me in. A medical assistant did my height, weight, and vital signs, and she said that my normal, healthy blood pressure was low. The nurse practitioner asked comprehensive questions about my health, performed a physical examination, and ordered a routine vaccine and several tests. A nurse initially prepared a vaccine that was slightly different than what the nurse practitioner had ordered. He then correctly administered the vaccine. Later, my test results were posted on a website, and the nurse practitioner wrote explanatory comments.

Dr. Samineni is an exceptional primary care physician. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed and at ease. Dr. Samineni took the time to listen to all my concerns and provided thorough explanations for each of my questions. Her compassionate and patient-centered approach made me feel valued and understood. The staff was equally friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr. Samineni to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and caring doctor.

I decided to give Steel City a try because they are close by and offer a walk-in clinic. I had to wait ten months for a welcome physical. I didn't mind because I was in excellent health until I contracted Lyme disease. I was in severe pain!!! The three different PAs I saw were all very nice but failed to connect my symptoms to Lyme. I had to beg their front office staff to let me see a doctor (they told me to go to the emergency room if I thought I needed to see a doctor but eventually gave me an appointment after they "found" a cancelation). The doctor was also very nice, ordered a bunch of expensive tests and blood work for everything (Lupus, Celiac, HIV, Hepatitis...) but Lyme. It was in my medical record that I had been bitten by a tick the prior month if only they had thought to look! I diagnosed myself and had to suggest they extend my antibiotic prescription when it ran out. Their only response when I figured this all out on my own: "Oh, Lyme is everywhere. I don't typically look that far back into a patient's records." I'm on a high deductible plan and was left with huge bills and a month of pain and suffering (I thought I was going to die!). I changed to a new medical practice and I am glad I did!

Update: The only thing I've received since completing the requested form is a bill marked final notice!

During my recent visit to Steel City Internal Medicine, I initially had a positive impression of the environment. Upon signing in, I was promptly seen by a nurse practitioner for an annual physical, as I required separate physicals for multiple job applications. The nurse practitioner conducted a brief examination and informed me that I needed to undergo some lab tests. She suggested that I proceed to the lab to have my tests done, assuring me that she would then sign the physical form I had brought. Following her advice, I completed the lab tests. However, upon returning to the office, I found that the nurse practitioner had secluded herself in the back office and refused to sign my form until the lab results were available. This experience proved to be quite disappointing, especially considering the significant time and effort I had invested in making the two-hour drive to the clinic. As a result, I have decided not to return to this clinic in the future, and I am hesitant to trust any medical advice provided by them.

Dr. Molter is a good physician, but I can't say the same about his staff, particularly the people at the reception area. The staff has little sense of customer service and communicates poorly. You can expect to wait for 30 minutes or more past your appointment time to see the doctor, with no help, courtesy, or feedback from the staff.

Did you know in healthcare that women are more likely to be diagnosed with anxiety than men? It’s a bias that womens symptoms are not taken seriously, and brushed off as mental health. With that being said, I don’t recommend this practice if you’re young, or a women. Especially not if you’re a young women. My husband stated once during an appointment that I was having anxiety over not feeling well, and they stopped all testing on me, and pushed anxiety medications instead. They misdiagnosed an allergic reaction as shingles, and then told me they “weren’t the practice for me,” when I advocated for myself for more testing. Not to mention how rude their charge “nurse” was, and the lack of empathy the practice carries. Two years later, and I’m worse than I ever have been. Surprise, the anxiety medications didn’t work. Luckily, I found someone who is trying to help, and has successfully moved me towards being better. Do yourself the favor, and avoid this practice. I’ll never stop warning women about what they put me through.

The scheduling coordinator is extremely rude and unprofessional. I called to schedule an appointment for an ER follow-up and was laughed at when I asked if there were any same day openings. Their website specifically says same day appointments and walk-in appointments. I understand that sometimes there is a wait for appointments. That's not a probelm. However, when you are already feeling unwell and trying to schedule a doctor's appointment, being laughed at over the phone is not helpful. It only made me feel worse. Definitely would not reccomend this practice. Highly unprofessional and demeaning.
