Everyone in the office is very nice & efficient. Dr O' & Rakhi Joshi have been my providers. Both have treated me well. My only negative concern is that I always feel rushed. There's not that personal interest. If you're looking for good care, this is a good place to come.

I will start with the positive: Ultimately they were able to aid me and the nurse was kind.

Overall I had a really bad experience here at Stripes Urgent Care. I will gloss over the long wait time and poor communication and transparency on pricing. Just know that as of 04/22/2024 an office visit is $170 plus what ever services you receive and that you should try to schedule an appointment to reduce your wait time if you can get them to answer the phone.

Now my healthcare is private and just between me, the receptionist and everyone in the waiting room that can easily overhear, but I will give an analogy of my experience. Imagine getting a hair cut and at the end they tell you there is a little strand of hair they missed and that you can cut it yourself at home or come in next week and pay $230 again. Then after some back and forth they try and prescribe hair removal cream. The doctor was very unprofessional even laughing at one point. He tried to claim they couldn’t “cut the strand of hair” because they would have to charge twice. Ultimately I insisted and the nurse came back and kindly helped me.

That was my experience.

I’ve been going to Stripes Primary Care for 8 years or so. I’ve always received professional & compassionate care & I love that Stripes has 3 locations; Mesa, AJ & Gold Canyon. Lately I’ve been seen by Nurse Practitioner Vincent Noriega. He’s awesome! Vincent is very professional, courteous & knowledgeable. He’s on top of all my medical needs & is very thorough. This is the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a medical place. Made an online appointment and then I called to verify everything with insurance and being able to do a simple physical and skin check. The person who picked up I couldn’t hear bc their phone was so low and I had to repeat it multiple times before he fixed the volume. Then when I asked him questions, he didn’t answer any of them and said he will book two appointments. That didn’t sound right to me and but I booked it and decided to call another time to speak with someone else to verify. I called two weeks later and he picked up again and assured me that two appointments was what I needed. Then on the day of the appointment at 8:40, he calls and said they can’t book two appointments and no we couldn’t do the physical that day and it would just be a dr visit. All things I verified again and again with him prior to the appointment. I don’t know where his office was at bc it wasn’t at the physical office I was at. At the end, they did do the physical and canceled the skin check. It’s now 1.5 hours after my initial appointment and still just waiting to get labs done. I’ve done physicals every year for years and never had this issue. I’m in and out of the drs office in less than 45 mins. This is the most terrible place I’ve ever gone for a simple physical. I will never go back and find an actual dr office to be my primary. They also didn’t specify in any of the online information that this was an urgent care office.

We recently had to change doctors and after some research I chose Dr. Chris at Stripes Primary Care. He and his team had great reviews, they have serval offices in the East valley so it’s easy to get in to see someone quickly, and after reading his bio on the website I was convinced that he and his wife are compassionate and have a strong desire to serve their community! All of this was confirmed after our first visit! I highly recommend Stripes!
