This is my first time at Sturbridge Dental. The office is very easy to find and it is in a very convenient location with ample parking.
The waiting room was clean and the front staff was very polite and professional. I immediately felt comfortable being there. The dental hygienist was amazing and I wish that I remember her name because I would give her a shout out! She was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable right away!!
I only met the dentist briefly at the end of my appointment, but he was very nice and he answered all the questions/concerns that I had, and let me know what my next plan for treatment would be.

Before I left the office, I stopped back at the front desk so they could go over The treatment plan and insurance/payments with me. They were very straightforward and made sure that I understood what the next payment would be, and when it would be due So there were no surprises.

I highly recommend Sturbridge Dental.

Great cleaning with Jill yesterday! She is so gentle and explained everything she was doing. She cared about my comfort and I appreciated that. She also was friendly with my 5 year old who had to tag along and was patient when she needed me to fix her game in the middle of my cleaning. 5 big stars, highly recommend!

Avoid this dentist at all costs! Their “Doctor” cannot even perform root canals and pushes for caps on teeth which simply need a filling.
I had a cap done there for a tooth that never gave me any pain because that was what the “doctor” suggested.

Six months later that tooth was causing me agony. I called them on a Thursday morning and was told I couldn’t be seen until Monday morning despite the pain I was in.

I suffered for 4 days waiting for my appointment and had to take oxycodone to make it through. Monday morning comes and they cancelled my appointment and said “maybe” they could fit me in the next day.

At that point I couldn’t endure the pain any longer and found another dentist that took me that same Monday. When they took X-rays they found that Sturbridge dental had not performed the cap correctly. They had left part of an old filling underneath the cap and the cap also wasn’t tight; so there was a space between the cap and the tooth.

This terrible dentistry had to be corrected with a root canal and new cap which cost me $2500 out of pocket.

Sturbridge dental also refused to make it right and said I should have “given them the opportunity to correct the tooth”. Apparently they think I should have continued to suffer for days until they could fit me into their schedule. Knowing what I know now I wouldn’t let them brush my teeth.

To add insult to injury they are now sending me a bill for $1500 for work they claim my insurance didn’t cover

Do yourself a favor and find a reputable dentist and avoid this place at all costs.

Dr. Hamad is highly skilled and makes the experience comfortable. He explains every procedure and will answer your questions thoroughly. I'm completely satisfied with my dental implants. Professional from start to finish. Excellent staff.

From the minute I walked in, I felt comfortable. From the women at the front desk, to the best dental hygienist that I've ever had, down to the dentist. I had a lot of pretty major issues with my teeth and was very nervous. They explained every step of what they were planning to do, down to reviewing my insurance with me. One step at a time. They gave me options, explained everything and were so kind. I can't recommend Sturbridge Dental enough !!! I truly appreciated their kindness, good energy and knowledge. Again, BEST dental hygienist I've seen . If you're like me, afraid of dentists and lengthy dental procedures, don't be !! FIVE STARS. Thank you !!

I have seen Dr. Hamad and he is excellent and thorough. In addition to the cleanings I have had from their skilled hygienists, I feel like I am in good dental health! I also need to add that the office staff (and the dentists and hygienists) are friendly and personable.

I can't say enough good things about this practice. From the moment you're greeted by Kim, the friendliest and most helpful receptionist ever, you feel comfortable and in good hands. Tanya is a wonderful hygienist that takes times to explain everything and goes above and beyond to educate her patients and make sure they are comfortable with the treatment plan. Emily, the office manager is great to deal with as well!
As someone who has had a share of bad dental experiences in the past, I am so thankful I found this office. Highly recommend!

Always a pleasant experience going here. All members of the dental team are friendly and polite, the cleaning is done thoroughly each time, and reminders are sent out before each appointment.
