If I could give Dr. Mannet 0 stars I would. What a joke for a neurologist. I got my license suspended due to seizures probably 10 years ago, but have been seizure free for 6 years without taking any medications. I was thrilled to see we had a neurologist on the mountain because that meant I didn't have to travel all the way to the valley to get this all figured out. Boy was I wrong to get my hopes up. I got to my appointment and the moment he walked in to the room I knew it wasn't going to go well. His bed side manner was horrible. He asked me why I was there and when I explained to him I was trying to get my license back and needed medical clearance he immediately told me he can't do that. Bologna! He stated I had to go back to the original neurologist who took my license away and have them clear it.... WHAT?! That was over 10 years ago and I'm not even sure who did it. Was it an ER doctor? Was it my neurologist (which at the time I had a few). What if they moved out of state or are no longer practicing? I know it's complete bull because I saw a neurologist last year down in the valley who was going to help me get my license back. But, similar to this guy, that neurologist just wanted to push pills on me. He never once offered to test me to see if I even needed medication he just said "I can put you on meds" and when I said I wasn't going to take pills when I'm not having seizures he got an attitude and said "well then I'm not going to give you any note to get your license". Hmm... I thought he already said he "couldn't" do that anyway so...? What a complete waste of my time. Totally unethical if you ask me. I'm making a complaint to the medical board, this guy is a joke and I'm sorry for the people who actively are having neurological problems and have to see him. He's only there to push pills. I'm guessing he was unwilling to help me because I wasn't going to be a continuous $$ maker. I just wanted a second opinion after my last neurologist told me I only had 1 minor brain spike during the 3 days I had my EEG test done that it was so close of call that it was up to the doctor to decide whether or not I was still epileptic and so I figured get a second EEG done so I know for sure. I'm not going to get back on medications when I'm not having any seizures without knowing for sure. I would think that any doctor that actually cared about his patients would be all for doing the tests before prescribing pills.. but apparently he cares more about the kick backs he's getting from the pharmaceutical companies so don't waste your time if you actually need help. You won't find it with this guy. I will warn everyone I know about this guy. I promise you he won't last long on this mountain the way he's treating people.

Worse. No stars. Went to see a neurologist at this healthcare institute. My husband had a ultrasound done on his legs 3 weeks ago for extreme edema in feet, ankles, legs. They just called. Advised the test all positive. When he asked ' what next'?, the caller said: 'well, just elevate your feet, keep wearing compression socks'. AND that was that! Nothing else to get to the bottom of his health problem!!!! And we pay for this junk What kind of a doctor advises a test comes back positive and then weenies out of any further exploratory research to get to the root cause of the problem!! Pill pushers and greedy money leeches!! This is beyond!! I will be sharing this on social websites and advising friends and families to NEVER use this neurologist or this healthcare facility!! He should be ashamed.

As a medical professional and someone who is fairly knowledgeable about my condition, Dr.Mannett knows more than I and I truly appreciate him being up here. Not sure why other people have him marked down so low, he's a great provider.
