The last time I've taken a friend there for an emergency. Each time even in the emergency room visit, the staff had to call in someone that could do what was needed for the patient in the emergency situation. So each time waiting for an individual that could do what needed to be done with the patient each time. I.E. Blood work at one visit And Ultrasound person another visit. I don't know what would have happened if they couldn't get in touch with that person that night. As it was the whole visit both times was about between 3 to 4 hours long. Thank God my friend didn't cut off a finger. To add, my friend was about the only one in the lobby each time. All facts, nothing made up.

I was a healthy 27-year-old man and I’ve always taken good care of my ears. On July 3rd, I suddenly developed a loud tinnitus ringing and very muffled left ear that wouldn’t go away, as well as a day or two of EXTREME vertigo. After a few days, I went to Banner Urgent Care clinic in Show Low—where I was dismissed with “Eustachian Tube Dysfunction” and told to wait and do nothing)—and a couple days later to this medical office. I was scheduled as a new patient of Dustin Baldwin, a Nurse Practitioner. I was very nervous about my situation because of what I had been reading online: a condition called Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSHL) in which your ear nerves/hair cells suddenly die.

Dustin Baldwin didn’t care about anything I had read on the internet. I was visibly nervous in his office, but he said I was having an anxiety attack about the situation, and was acting very dismissive and holier-than-thou. I had to push him to do any sort of test with a simple tuning fork, and afterwards he still said, I had fluid in my middle ear and told me to do nothing and wait it out. He did not take my concerns seriously and I immediately scheduled with a local audiologist. The audiologist confirmed I had significant sensorineural hearing loss, no fluid in my ear, and no physical blockage. I immediately scheduled with an ENT down in Phoenix that was willing to take the gold standard method of treatment for this condition (high dose prednisone and steroid injections in the ear).
Over time I recovered SOME of my hearing loss, which I wouldn’t have been able to do had I DONE NOTHING as the urgent care physician and Nurse Practitioner Baldwin told me to.

The only reason I’m giving this place a two star review instead of one star is because the ladies at the front desk were very kind and polite, and Nurse Practitioner Kim Gardner was able to see me on a telehealth phone call who was able to prescribe me with low-dose steroids before my visit to the ENT in Phoenix. She was a lot more caring and willing to listen to my concerns and I thank her very much.

If you have any major concern about your health, that isn’t a very simple, mundane issue, do not come here for ANY diagnosis regarding a more advanced issue. Because of the delay in proper treatment, I still have some permanent hearing loss and blaring tinnitus which will plague me for the rest of my life.

Went into snowflake urgent care at 6:00 and waited to talk to someone at desk. Who then refused to see me even though I was having chest pains. Said they didn’t have enough time to see their current patients before 7. Did not offer to get me help.

I've never been to an urgent care before where the representatives at the desk make you wait 4 hours to get checked in. I've never officially been seen by any practitioner from this location. I've lived in snowflake for 4 years now and every time I decide to give urgent care a chance, I end up regretting it. Every time.
The hospital in show low gets you seen way faster and the staph for the most part is respectful. So yeah I'm surprised this place is still opened. The staff that works here could care less about you .

I am incredibly frustrated with the clinic. My son broke his arm, and the provider was great, however the staff INSISTED on doing the walk-in instead of making an appointment for all other care related. The first time we had to wait two hours for a cast to be put on, were we to have an appointment it would have been less than half and hour. The second time they wouldn’t let me have an appointment to get the cast removed and all the walk in providers were on vacation when it was time, so my son had to wait to get the cast off and make an appointment, when I wanted an appointment in the first place!

Assistant was about to take my blood pressure. I mentioned I had 2 long sleeve shirts on. BP was really high. She ran out to talk to Dr. Dr asked me about high BP and I mentioned that I had 2 long sleeves on. Dr sent Assistant back in for second check. Assistant was pissy and even though bp was 20 points lower without one of the sleeves. She snaps, well it's still high. Then produces the nasal test and jams it much harder than I ever had or done before. I'm sure it's because she had to retest me. But Dr didn't seem to care that the Assistant was angry and abusive.

Great Dr.s and staff. Unfortunately both staff and physicians are overloaded, hence the hour wait in the room. I understand the shortage but perhaps the scheduling front desk should take that into consideration when setting up those appointments.

I was advised to go to the walk in clinic I felt like I was having a gallbladder attack.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Saw Jennifer medical assistant to Brett Mason
Jennifer had me do a urine test and then Brett Mason came in we talked for a while then he decided to check the area I was having a issue with which was very tender.
Had me schedule an ultrasound had that done on the 8th of August was told someone would call me with the results.
Didn't hear anything so I called Tuesday the 12th of August talked with Jennifer MA she said she had the results and would have Brett Mason call me either that afternoon or on Wednesday. Did not get a phone call. I then waited till Monday the 18th of August to call.
Left a message on JenniferMA to Brett Mason to please call me.
I still have not received a call from anyone re that test.
Ami to assume that the test showed nothing at all?
Maybe I should call medicare and let them know that this is going on.

I thought I had found caring medical assistant and PA
I'm following a bland diet and that seems to be helping me
