Sharon is personable and professional. She shares anecdotes about her life when appropriate and relevant. Many therapists will not talk about their lives at all. This helps me to understand what I’m going through and helps me open up. She is the only therapist I have told everything to in my many many years of therapy with different providers. I have had several revelations under her care and I could never say that before her.

I first went to this group about 4 years ago for my psychiatrist, and it has since been about 3 years since I have last seen anybody from this group. That said, over the course of that year or so was the most unorganized practice I've ever encountered. The sheer amount of revolving front desk workers said it all to me what was going on here. Soon after my first appointments with my psychiatrist, it was suggested that I try TMS for my treatment-resistant depression. I met with Aimee along with my Dad to verify the TMS treatment. I think this was for something with insurance but i'm not entirely sure. Whatever the case, I brought with me a VERY PERSONAL folder from my hospitalization as I was very desperate to get some sort of relief. Aimee said that the folder was perfect for documentation purposes. I made sure that this folder was only given for her to make copies and that it would be returned to me. She verified that it would be returned to me. Another appointment was made where it was stated that I would hear back from insurance at most 3 months later. I had followed up with the front desk worker every monthly appointment the status of my TMS insurance case and every time they said they had not heard anything. They even reached out to Aimee herself who said she would get back to me but never did. I still have not heard anything about the status of that treatment, but this might be just an insurance issue who knows. In any case, the thing that bothered me the most was that folder that I blindly trusted my providers with. I checked back in 5 times within the next year about where this folder was. Each time I insisted to the front desk clerk that they give Aimee my name and number to follow up with me about it. She never did follow up with me. Since it's been so many years without contact, I know that folder is long gone. It bothers me the most, though, that they would throw away something that clearly had so much meaning to it. I also know that there was no way they couldn't verify it was me as I labeled almost every sheet with my name. I know I probably should have been more on top of things, but I had just freshly turned 18 and was desperate, naiive, and anxious to be a burden to those working so hard in the industry. I have since learned so much about how to go about these situations (and about how wrong some health providers can be). I am posting this as a warning to heed their promises with a grain of salt and keep on top of things like this so you don't make the same mistakes.

I want to give a huge thank you to Dr. Aimee at the Center for introducing me to red light therapy through bedrock science. The advantages of this treatment—improved circulation and pain relief—are incredible, especially for conditions like neuropathy, arthritis, tendinitis, fibromyalgia, plantar fasciitis, cartilage wear, wrist pain, and bursitis.

For context, I have been struggling with shingles for the past three weeks and the associated neuropathy pain has been unbearable. Doctors prescribed me hydrocodone and even wanted to start me on gabapentin, but as a strong believer in holistic medicine, I wanted a better solution. That’s when Dr. Aimee convinced me to try the red light therapy pad offered at the Center.

I can honestly say that after just one use, I experienced immediate relief within seconds. I’ve now been using the pad daily for two weeks, and while the pain has not completely gone away, it has subsided significantly. More importantly, I can actually feel the regenerative properties working each time I use it.
