First time visiting. Good food, great service, and a live band! Can’t really beat that! The Fennec is a sports bar and grill. Great place to catch the game before the live band plays at 9pm. We ordered crab cakes and oysters Rockefeller. Both appetizers were good! For entrees we ordered shrimp and grits and the Hail Mary (fried catfish, fried shrimp and two sides). I chose Brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries with a hot honey drizzle as my sides. Food was great! We will return! Prices were affordable too!

Awesome sports bar with live music. This was our first time in Burmingham and we had recommendations to visit The Fennec, and we were not disappointed. The good was amazing, tried the wings and the double cheese smash burger and it was cooked perfectly on a toasted brioche bun. Service was excellent. Our waitress was great, attentive and constantly checked up on us. The bands were really good. Overall, great food, great service, great music and a great experience. Highly recommend you visit.

A hidden gem that's just a block away from Railroad Park. The food was very good. The atmosphere was very lively. The service was spot on. If you are near Downtown, Southside, or UAB, this is a great spot for lunch, dinner, or just drinks.

Hailey, Hailey, Ms. Hailey! You were absolutely wonderful, thank you for the great service! Lawd knows I was super hungry after visiting those 4 museums. I appreciate you and all the recommendation you provided me. Yes, of course I took her advice and ordered them all.
Let’s get in to it; The drink was phenomenal “Dragon Fire-very fitting lol) I loved the smoke show!! The Chilled Hotty Totty- not so much but that’s a preference. She is miss the sugar rim : (
The crab cake appetizer were very delish and way larger then I expected. Good price point! Mozzarella sticks (can’t ever go wrong there) I got the Panhandle Tacos and whatever sauce they use absolutely made the tacos. I wish I could have bought some to take with me. I got crispy Brussels instead of the chip and salsa, I’m so glad I did! They’re the top 5 Brussels sprouts I’ve EVER eaten 8.5/10. I would come back just for that alone (well everything really). If you’ve never been here, get here!!!! I came in around 2pm on Friday and place was empty-SHOCKINGLY SURPRISED.
Another great mention is a gentleman named Jay who was ever so kindly enough to give me a tour of the place. The upstairs is an astonishing large event space; bar area, separate kitchen, bridal suit with showers, and the most gorgeous bathrooms. Best in Birmingham from what I was told.
If you are looking for lunch, drinks or an event space to rent for whatever reason look no further because this place is certainly it. When I tell you it’s the whole kit & caboodle! Thanks everyone for making my experience great! Also Jay BK whoppers rule!!!

This place was really awesome! Their food was amazing! They had plenty of options for glutten free, vegetarian and meat. I particularly enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms and the crispy stuffed ravioli. The amosphere was perfect for after hours social conversations. The staff was friendly and effortlessly cleaned up used plates and utensils, ensuring everyone was free to continue the social experience. It was all so natural and pleasant. The mood lighting and architecture really helped to further engage and freely roam from conversation to conversation. The entire building seems to exude a sense of rich history. If you need a place for a company after hours bar scene social event, This is the best space and place I have ever seen for such an event. Good job guys, keep up the good work!!

Planning a wedding and reception can create a lot of stress, but working with The Fennec to host the reception did not. Ramona, Chef John and their team did an outstanding job executing a detailed plan we curated together. The lighting, band, dance floor, bar area, food and so much more all made for a memorable evening! Highly recommend using the private upstairs dining areas (The Social and The Cypress) for events!

We had an incredible dining experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, but the highlight for us was the ribeye. My husband couldn’t stop raving about how perfectly cooked and flavorful it was—it was the best he’s ever had! This restaurant is a gem, and we can’t wait to come back.
