Can every motel / hotel experience be as lovely as this was? The sweet lobby boutique with fireplace was perfect for morning coffee and perusing of well curated items. The rooms were simple, clean, updated and well appointed. My room had a live plant in it and the bed was more comfortable than mine at home, swoon! The outdoor spaces were just perfect for our group to cozy up together for the evening with twinkle lights and huge gas fire pits. The speakeasy style wine bar, the Salty Tiger, was by far my favorite little piece of eclectic, vintage, Cayucos perfection. I will be staying here again and I suggest you book immediately if you're looking for a great spot in walking distance of the cutest little beach town on the central coast.

Such an adorable, clean, updated and quiet motel! Comfortable rooms and beds, great personal service and fun onsite bar - The Salty Tiger. We enjoyed the friendly staff, sitting by the fireplace in the lobby while enjoying our morning coffee and walking to several restaurants. We appreciated that everything was updated and the location was perfect! We will definitely be back and plan to stay longer next time. Lacy was so friendly and a joy to get to know. Looking forward to our next trip!

I recently enjoyed a quick weekend getaway to The Pacific Hotel in Cayucos and it was fabulous! It’s a charming little spot not to be missed. I loved everything about it. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The lobby is darling with a great little sitting area to enjoy your morning coffee and a fun little retail area. The room with fireplace was so cozy, clean and immaculately appointed (their linens are SO GOOD). The outdoor fire pit areas were wonderful for enjoying the fresh air and a little stargazing. And don’t miss The Salty Tiger, their quaint little speak easy, for a glass of something bubbly and refreshing.

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Pacific Motel. The Pacific is an adorable beachside motel that has been thoughtfully renovated to be the nicest place in Cayucos. Every detail was just spot on! From the cool decor, super comfortable bed and the nice bathroom, to the fun outside area and of course, The Salty Tiger bar. We enjoyed every aspect and everyone we met was helpful and welcoming. Thanks for an awesome stay! We will be back.

It is a pretty immaculate set up - cool amenities like a bar, ping pong table, bikes, awesome stuff to browse/buy in lobby, very chic offerings... Very comfortable and makes great use of space in rooms. Heater in bathroom strong enough to heat up the whole place! Loved every minute at Pacific Motel and would definitely return in the future!

My wife and I stay in luxury properties all over the world and our standards are quite high. When trying a new place I often leave feeling underwhelmed. I'm pleased to report that The Pacific Motel in Cayucos not only met but exceeded our expectations across a number of categories. First and foremost, this place is extremely clean! And this is not to say that the room was doused with bleach and received a cursory vacuum. To the contrary! What I'm saying is that every inch, every single nook and cranny, is spotlessly fresh and clean. We found not a single trace of the room's former occupants. Secondly, the beds, linens and room amenities are absolutely on par with what we typically find at 5-star hotels. We also appreciated the excellent coffee served each morning--apparently it's a custom blend by a master roaster in Paso Robles. Prior to checking out we had the pleasure of meeting the motel owner and hearing about The Salty Tiger, a speakeasy slated to open this spring on the property. Looking forward to a return trip in the fall to enjoy the gorgeous beach weather and more of what The Pacific has to offer. Take note, savvy travelers--this place is not to be missed!

Been coming to this gem of a boutique motel since they opened in 2022 and it NEVER disappoints! In fact it literally just keeps getting better...they have added the cutest, coolest bar "The Salty Tiger" with fab drinks and treats. I have brought my sister, daughter, best friend and hubby and everyone raves and ends up returning on their own! What a gift the entire Pacific Motel team are...warm, friendly, accommodating, and fun. Thank you to Anna and Lacey for your lovely ways of interacting with us guests! No doubt we will see you again soon!

What a wonderful place to spend our weekend for our annual marriage retreat. I would love to gatekeep this place so it does not get too competitive to stay, but it deserves all the praise.

The renovations & upgrades are all functional & aesthetic, while maintaining all the charm of a roadside, beach town motel. It is walking distance to the small downtown area, and is the perfect place to stay for a Cayucos getaway. Cannot recommend enough!
