The people were very friendly that admitted us and the facility is really nice and clean. The nurses are extremely professional and very helpful. The aid that helped my mom move in was extremely rude and scared my mom during a critical time in her life. This was addressed when we complained which I was very satisfied with. However, the aides that needed to help my mom to get to the bathroom on a non-weight-bearing leg did not do their job. They left my mother on her own to hop into a wheelchair and scoot her away with her foot to hop on the toilet then back off and back to bed. That is not what was supposed to happen. When my mother and I both expressed concern about this nothing was ever done. The aids in my opinion are most likely overworked and underpaid, and only do the bare minimum because of this. Unfortunately, the patients are those who suffer. If this problem was ever solved, this facility would be an A+ and I could recommend it. Funny part is we owe a small bill which they harass us about and even told my mother that she received the best care possible. This bill will not be paid because we did not receive the best care in South Louisiana. At this time, I would not put your family member in this facility.

Outstanding Leadership and his team of Department heads that follow behind him especially our HR who is so helpful to everyone! Caring and Compassionate Nurses, CNA’s, Housekeeping and our Therapy & Rehab Team. Dietary department is amazing at tending to the residents daily nutrition needs. I’m so happy I have the pleasure of working back here! I missed my coworkers and residents so very much.

I would like to thank the staff in the rehab department & everyone who took wonderful care of me. Especially nurse practitioner ms tiny. She said some things that got my attention. I would highly recommend this rehab facility to anyone who is healthy enough to do it! It is kept very clean. They go out of their way to help u. The food is very tasty & healthy also.

We are elated when our loved ones are well enough to leave the hospital. In our minds, rehab is the wonderful thing that gets them back home to us.

Imagine the horror when they tell us they ring the bell and no one comes, or they come and ask “What you want?” 30-45 minutes later. There shouldn’t be fear connected to ringing for help.

Imagine showing up to visit and their oxygen is 68 and he is unresponsive. Incompatible with life you would think. Is there brain damage now?

They are in pain. They need you. They don’t want to be here more than you don’t want to answer the call light. I promise. They feel completely stripped of their dignity. Your lack of compassion and patience shouldn’t be to their detriment.

If you don’t want to work in this environment then don’t. These people are the forgotten. The weak. The defenseless.

These patients are somebody’s family.

My Aunt (Patti Mims) has been at Thibodaux Healthcare Center for two months and I couldn't be happier with the quality of care she is receiving. The transition to the facility was seamless thanks to the Director of Business Development and the Business Office Manager. The entire staff is incredible. Very friendly and always willing to assist. A very uplifting experience. Comforting to know that she is in a good place receiving great care.

What a fabulous experience transitioning our mom to this beautiful facility! The employees are all so very helpful and friendly! Everything is so clean and efficient! So very grateful for Mr. Barbera and his entire team for all that they have done and continue to do for us!

Some of the workers are nice, but others not so nice them get mad if they have to work to hard or at all, some of the workers are there just for a paycheck.. I have noticed that when the residents needs to be changed they DO NOT clean them good and it takes them 30 mins to an hour to get to the room to change them. It's sad really.... some of the residents has to sit in their own filth for that long. It hurts me to know this... if your loved one needs to be cared for if you have help I suggest taking them home to be cared for cause a nursing home is not a good place. I am very disappointed in this place... I hope it gets better for the residents of this place for their sake
