I'm retired Army and used an In Network facility, American Sleep Medicine, then started receiving bills from, Tri State Health, who I've never heard of. I also never signed anything agreeing to use this facility, nor has any representative from American Sleep Medicine mentioned I will be using this facility. As far as I'm concerned, I never did... since I've never met any of its staff. It's been over a year, and I'm still working with my insurance company to get this corrected. There's a "No Suprise Act" law that protects patients from receiving out-of-network bills from using in-network providers.

I reached out to Tri State Health Inc and a staff member said the Office Manager would call me back.. this never happened. I also sent an email to Dr. Niaz since his name is in this bill... no response from him either.

I'm waiting on the Insurance Company decision and my next step will be to file a complaint with The Attorney General's office specifically the Health Education and Advocacy Unit to lodge a complaint.

Researching Dr. Muhammed Niaz, to get my facts straight on this individual, I came across a Newark Post article from 2013 where it appears he lost his medical license for 3 years and was fined. There are a lot of unsavory facts from this several year investigation. No surprise he didn't respond to my email.

They scheduled appointment at 3:15 and when I show up on appointment they told me some other family rescheduled at 3:00 thats why they made me wait two and half hours.
This is ridiculous!
