I called and made an appointment for care I urgently needed. Gave them my personal AND insurance info. Waited the four hours until my appointment. Got there early to check in.... Only to be told they don't take my insurance!! Thanks for wasting my day and preventing me from getting the help I needed on the day I needed it! Ridiculous show of incompetence. Do not recommend!

I am extremely disappointed in Virginia Chambers, who was assigned to see me for counseling. I intended to have this be my final visit. At the baseline visit, she scolded me for not showing up to previous appointments even though it had been several years with the prior team, and I had no issues with them.
She called the crisis unit on the 2nd visit misunderstanding. My suicidal thoughts had to do with intense migraine pain I was experiencing and not actual planning. I was able to get resources and had to book several follow-up visits with her. At our 3rd visit, we spent 5 minutes where she scolded me for emailing her 1 time over a referral question.
She said she had a patient every 30 minutes and didn't have time to answer emails that were not urgent. She said I would have to cometh the office to speak to her directly, I was unaware that was her preferred method.
I finally spoke up and said I would prefer to end our sessions now and in the future because I felt she was abrasive.
She said many people felt that way, and it was okay. I asked the name of her supervisor, and she said to call the 760 number and go ahead and waived her hand up. She walked me out and said goodbye, leaving me standing alone in the lobby. The 2 receptionist heard me ask for her supervisors name and offered a form to document the occurrence. I will be filing a grievance with my insurance. She should not work in a field where she does not show empathy or understanding. She said she was not responsible for my crisis even though we spent 5 minutes together, and I barely spoke, I felt her bedside manner was completely out of line.
I spent 30 years in healthcare working with doctors and patients. This type of behavior is meant to undermine and shame a patient if she did not want me as a patient , I would gladly see so.eone else.

This center has no concern for patients. Today they had a staff meeting and had a notice on front door saying closed from 8 to 9:20. They did not bother to call/inform patients. There was a line of people waiting outside in the rain and cold and that included a geriatric person in a wheelchair. Would have been kinder to keep the front door open to have people come in and seat themselves.

Yesenia sent me a message that she was cancelling my appointment with Dr Claudio.
The message has been since deleted. (Screenshot) I am once AGAIN being told, I missed an appt!! I had an appt at 8 with pulmonary and asked, who made this appt? The director?/Owner, I was informed denied me access to BH.

Their calling line is horrible!! They think they are the doctors they hung up on me, if Karma exist hoping the lady on the line never needs help as bad I needed it. And the doctors are just there receiving their pay. Horrible! I want to add if you try to reach to me, to excuse the incompetence of your doctors, don't bother, is obvious that everyone had seen enough.

I don’t know what to say about this place. It’s so unfortunate that the medical system is so broken.

After A LOT of effort, I finally have a GP that I like.

Scratch that, now I’m seeing a new person who is just like every other C- Dr you’ve ever experienced. 🙄.

I swear, I don’t think I’ll go back to this or any doctor ever again. They look at you like you’ve got 3 heads, and try to hide that they think you’re a leper. My relative can do a better job than anyone at this place.

Only go once a year to keep the insurance because CA requires people to have insurance…silliest law ever.

My guess is that the new people working there are fresh out if their residency, and need to pay their student loans, so they agree to work at this type of clinic where you need a heartbeat and a pencil to get a job, til their student loans are paid off. They’re not in it to help you, they’re in it to help themselves. Be very clear on that.

TrueCare is the worst. Some years ago, I was about to change health systems because the doctor I had didn’t really cared and only treated the symptoms. I suffered from depression and all he wanted to do is fill me up with pills which didn’t work. One of my friends heard about my depression and told me to check my hormone levels that my Testosterone might be down. I ask my doctor at that time to check them. He scuffed and ordered the test. My friend who isn’t a doctor was right. After that it gave me a bad taste and wanted to change my healthcare system but the administrator ask me to call them to convince me to stay. She assigned me the same doctor I had before at VCC and she was the reason why I had left VCC. But I decided to give her a chance. It turns out she was still a pill giving symptom treater. Not only that, For 4 visits, some dude would come in after my visit after the doctor to offer me an insulin pump and the same dumb information package about diabetes. He asked if I was interested in the omnipad I said I was and he said great I’ll be back. He would never come back. After the 3rd offer I asked him that he has offered and I willing and I never heard back. He seemed confused. He said I’ll be back. Never came back again. 4th he offered and I got annoyed I told him I don’t want it and he said why. I told him about the other 3 times he offered. He tried to blame on someone else and he promised me he was gonna get me the pump. He brought some other lady and they had me set up. I even met with a rep from Omnipad. When I went the pharmacy, CVS told me TC hadn’t provide the authorization. So I call the lady that set me up she told me she was going to fix it. She later message me that my insulin was ready. I went to CVS, they said it was still not authorized by TC. So I called them again only to repeat the cycle. When I went to cvs again. They wanted me to pay $80 for the insulin. Even though I wasn’t covered by my Insurance. At this time, I had enough of the incompetent staff. I asked my primary doctor to give me my old insulin back which they ignored for two weeks. Meanwhile, my diabetes was even more out of control because I didn’t have my old insulin. After about 1 1/2 month with this ordeal, they gave me a prescription to the off-brand version of the medicine I was taking. Don’t go with TrueCare. I’m planning to file a lawsuit against them as well.
