For tourists like us, Tubs was a convenient location to do laundry and shop interesting stores while waiting out the cycles. The place was clean, machines in good order and we didn’t mind paying $6.25 for clean clothes!

Nice clean laundromat. Reasonably priced relative to other places (I use a lot of laundromats...I'm guessing those that call it 'overpriced don't...cheaper overall than the other public mat in town...)) 3 sizes of washers. Efficient washers and dryers. Rarely encounter an 'out of order' machine. Ample parking even for RVs. Provide wheeled baskets. Long counter for folding, chairs inside and out. Food and snacks available nearby. Almost always someone on site (in office)
Machines take US $1 coins, 25c coins or tokens only. Buy tokens with bills or credit/debit card*. Prices are clearly posted so you can calculate what you need before buying.
*Note, your bank statement will reference Nayax Vending.*

TWENTY DOLLARS for the big machines. I travel continuously, I've done laundry in 48 states, and I've never seen a price anywhere near that high. No way, I'll rinse some socks out and do laundry at my next stop.

It's clean, but horribly expensive. You have to be careful how you insert your coins. If you don't hold your tongue just right they won't register. Try banging and pushing the coin return. If that doesn't work bang angrily on the red door. Or better yet do your laundry somewhere else before getting to Borrego Springs. Your wallet will thank you.

Over priced, dryers don’t really get hot even on high. Took forever to get one load dried. Double washers start at$11.00- 14.00Single top loader run 2.75-3.75. Triple load 16.50- 21.90, depending in load type and water temps.
Horrible dryers. 2.00 for 24 minutes, but they barely get warm no way clothes will dry in the alotted time. No staff

Okay, but make sure you determine how much you need to spend BEFORE you get your tokens. There are no returns, and they only supply tokens. If you misjudge, that $20.00 laundry trip will turn into $30.00! Quite a scam in my opinion.

The place is clean the machine work everything in Borrego springs is off the chart how local w everyday people afford it i dont know but yeah very expensive but what else is there. I highly suggest load up on everything prior to coming to Borrego
