I called the office to cancel my appointment last minute due to transportation issues and concerns about being late, and that was no issue. The person who answered my call was named Darrell. He was helpful and got me an earlier appointment because my medical issue was potentially urgent. Not long after, I called the office again to ask if I could switch back to my original appointment because I had my ride situation figured out. Michelle picked up the phone, and right after I explained my situation to her, she hung up on me. I know it wasn't an accident. When I arrived at the office, the woman at the front desk with short black hair who speaks Cantonese (I didn't get her name, but she was NOT Michelle) was kind enough to reach out to my provider and ask if she could squeeze me back into her schedule. That was it- no issues, and I was able to see my provider at the original time I had scheduled. I am so grateful for that staff member.

Luckily, my medical issue was benign, but had it been an urgent situation like Darrell had mentioned during my initial call with him, Michelle would've denied me the opportunity to see a provider because she was not willing to communicate with me. That was rude and unprofessional of her as a medical staff member.

My provider, Helena Pham was great. She addressed all of my concerns and listened with empathy. It was a quick appointment too.
