The folks working it here are super nice friendly and will get you hooked up with all your financial aids. Better to get there earlier than later they work hard in the earlier part of the day to get you what you need they are not slammed like you would expect you're actually in and out of there pretty quick. it's clean and well lit actually a good place to take care of any County Services

Received a letter from Medical stating renewal was coming up with alot of paperwork to fill out. I just drove down and asked if they could help, and I kid you not, I saw the worker of the day
She filled it all out for me, just asking questions then I was done. They sent it in for me. I was done and out of there in less than an hour. These people are awesome 👌 love these guys

A human will never answer the phones.
Voicemails will not be returned.
It would be wonderful if DOGE fires everybody.

Literally have spent 2 days trying to call and contact someone and all I get is recording. No one ever returns your call. Do they even answer their phones anymore? Not everyone can drive all the way to the office to actually get to talk to someone.

I have never had a bad experience here, and always felt like the workers went to bat for me. I never waited too long at the site, maybe longest was 1/2 hour . its hard to get a worker of the day by phone sometimes.

I've always had great experience with Tuolumne County Social Services until now. I don't know where their phone attendant Penny gets off on her little power trips, use of condescending and threatening language, and overall ROTTEN attitude. I certainly don't know how it's relevant to my benefits being cut based on an assumption of how much money I'm making that she has been employed there since 2006. It made no difference to me. She still didn't know that the public health emergency was renewed until May of 2023, which is something she should know if she is an employee of the state. I myself am one and haven't even been for a year, and I make sure to be up to speed on the goings on of our country and more importantly our state. I will be filing a formal complaint. Intimidation tactics don't work on people who are clearly smarter than you. Just an FYI for future reference.
