Don’t come here if you have more than 2 children and can’t always find reliable baby sitters for your others while you attend appointments. Not very accommodating. Very unorganized. Definitely need to get employees there who know what they’re doing.

After living in the area for 6 years and not having an established relationship with a pediatrician we are very excited to have found Dr. Barnes. He has been amazing with my new baby’s care and my other older children are comfortable with him as well. One thing I really appreciate about Dr. Barnes is he values and respects me as a mother/parent and person. He considers my experience and intuition with my children without compromising their medical/health needs. I just think it’s important that doctors aren’t totally dismissive of the parents and he has never been this way with me, which makes me respect him even more. Also, his staff is THE BEST! Always so friendly and accommodating.

Our first visit was around 14 months, we were schedule for our 15 month check up as a new patient but then needed an ER follow for pneumonia. It was easy to get an appointment quickly and his office staff was extremely polite and easy to work with. When we went for the appointment, Dr. Barnes was extremely friendly and easy going and easy to talk to despite stressful circumstances, and he had reviewed and knew details of my child’s chart and medical history which previous providers from birth never knew at visits. We easily conversed and addressed some concerns I had in general, and we felt so much more at ease after leaving. I felt a full trust in my child’s care, the answers we were given, and Dr. Barnes knowledge after only a few moments of speaking with him. He knew details and important things about my child before I could even get the words out of my mouth. I was so impressed and felt so at ease and confident in the care he provides as a pediatrician. I also felt confident in not only his knowledge of my child, but of pediatric medicine and research in general. In short - he is amazing and highly recommended and his staff is great as well.

Most amazing pediatrician I could’ve asked for. Dr. Barnes was highly recommended to me while I was pregnant, by a friend who’s son sees him. My daughter was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 8 days old and Tyler has been excellent at helping us nearby with all our many questions, without having to always refer to the CF Center in Atlanta. He is the most caring and personable doctor I have ever had. Very hands on and knowledgeable. I love that we never ever feel rushed when we have to visit and I love the way he handles my newborn, both of which are very important to me. His office staff are always super sweet. Ms. Gwen and Brittany are precious! We are so thankful our daughter is in great hands!

We started using Dr Barnes when our youngest son was born this year. I have never been more comfortable with a doctor for my kids. We even switched our oldest son over to him after seeing his other pediatrician for 7 years. He was never comfortable with his other doctor, but took up right away with Dr Barnes. We love the whole staff, they are very friendly and relatable. Any time I have needed to call about a question or issue, they answer my questions quickly and get things taken care of. We love this office.
