I am deeply disappointed with the care my mother received at UCLA West Hills Hospital. She was admitted with CHF and aortic stenosis, yet was discharged far too soon, despite her serious condition. Within just three days, there was no follow-up or call from the cardiologist, leaving us feeling abandoned and unsupported.

The discharge process was especially upsetting—the nurse seemed more anxious to get her out than to ensure she was ready or stable enough to leave. It was clear that the focus was on quantity over quality of care. This experience was unacceptable, and we will not be returning to this hospital. Patients deserve better.

I'll be back with a full review once I'm done MOURNING the loss of my mother, on their watch! From THEIR incompetent Doctors, neglect, to their rotating nurses who NEVER offered insight, but rather condescending statements. Her pain and suffering, NOW DEATH, is on YOU! Shame on you!
This is only the tip of the iceberg. I'll write more as I'm trying to navigate my life right now. But West Hills Hospital is still West Hills Hospital, with a new UCLA mask. Shame on ALL OF YOU!
1st picture was placed by a Neurologist to "alert nurses" how to behave. For before this note, they'd shut the door and let her scream in pain. She was "waiting" 26 days to have her Gallbladder removed. Is that normal she'd ask? Which led to a stroke. On THEIR watch. 2nd photo is the always empty nurse's station where no one is ever around. And if they are, they're annoyed you're asking for anything. Imagine how a patient feels? This review is just the beginning. I've got so many pictures, receipts and witnesses, I'm just warming up. I wish I could've saved my mom from this torture chamber. I tried to move her to Tarzana Hospital, but they wouldn't let me. I'm in tears, when THEY SHOULD BE! I'll be back. My momma deserves to have her story. No. Nightmare exposed.

I had my liver transplant 24 years ago. The doctors and nurses are God sent. I love and respect everyone who works there and do their best to make sure that they take care of you the best that they can.

The staff working in the Emergency Room is extremely unprofessional. While patients are being shuffled left and right, I saw at least four or five staff members behind the desks on their personal devices, chatting it up about tonight's poker game or previous night's romantic date. This place felt less like a medical setting and more like a hangout zone for their ER staff. Mind you, my husband and I were parked in the middle of the hallway while he was receiving his care. His diagnosis and test results were within earshot of everyone in the room, staff and other patients alike. Did they perform the necessary tests? Yes, hence the two stars. But did we feel cared for by their staff? Absolutely not. We will be going to Tarzana hospital moving forward.

I had a great physical therapy experience here. My PT gave me a series of exercises to help relieve pain and help with injury prevention in my shoulders, and I feel so much better than I did before. The staff person at the front desk and phone was also very helpful and really nice to interact with.

The female nurses here are very rude and talk to you any type of way. Especially if you’re a person of color. I seen them kick a sick lady out. The males are pretty cool and chill but please get rid of some of the female staff. They’re incompetent and disrespectful

I was at the er last night and was there for 7 hours. It was a scary experience and there was a lady that was pretty old and she was by herself looking for her husband and trying to remember his phone number so she could use my phone to call . None of the staff seemed willing to help her . They seem very under staffed.
