I had a terrible experience that wasted a good part of my morning. I've used UHealth Kendall before. I signed in, was told the lab would be with me shortly, and then waited an hour. I went back to the desk to ask how much longer I needed to wait. They seemed confused. They sent me directly back to the lab. The lab sent me back to the desk. Eventually, the lab said they couldn't do my work because my doctor was no longer in network. Fine, why didn't they tell me this when I checked in? Lots of confusion and a waste of time.

The accessibility of primary care physicians (PCPs) is a significant concern. The current system appears to prioritize volume over individualized patient care, resulting in appointment cancellations and extended wait times due to administrative inefficiencies. While UHealth offers commendable overall services, the PCPs' high volume of patients compromises their ability to provide timely and personalized attention, leaving patients feeling undervalued.

I been a patient at the UM since 2015. Most of my chemo treatment and follow up visits were done here. The doctors, the nurses and the staff, they are great, they treat the patients like family. Always ready to help and even at the busiest times they do a great job. They are very corteous, friendly, helpful. I recommend this place to anyone anytime.

Idk why the reviews are so bad
The doctors here are so helpful and attentive, I had no problems with my labs. Have come 3 times already and never had any problems. Wait times are so short too. Musa was so helpful and kind, I definitely recommend.

Great doctors but the staff is useless and the Lab is the worst service ever. I needed a test ordered by PCP which was not blood related. Lab told me to return next day fasting. Returned the next day, told check in desk why I was there and waited 1 hour due tons of patients waiting. When it was my turn, the tech was going to draw blood. When I told her why I was there she said they didn’t have that test. Never returning there. Poorly managed facility.

Terrible lab experience. They did not collect the specimen correctly. The test could not be performed. I found out several days later because results was not available. I spend some time making several calls to discover to make the experience even worse I was told I had to return again to the facility, make appt with a nurse JUST to get my weight prior to lab. The wait to see the nurse and get the lab paperwork took 45min and another 45min just waiting for lab re-collect only half tube of blood.
Ps. I’m 6mo pregnant and live over 1h away from this facility.
Besides that the communication between u-health with me through the app and phone is terrible.
I’m changing doctors and lab after all these very unprofessional experience in the middle of my pre-natal.

We love our doctors a UHealth, the way the place is run is absolutely awful.
This afternoon my sister finished with her doctor at 3PM which should have allowed us half an hour before her STS pickup to get bloodwork done.
First we had to re-register (we had already done that to see the doctor), then we had to sit for 20 minutes and listen to a UHealth security guard try to talk his coworker into some get rich quick real estate investment scheme while we waited for a lab tech to come get her. The lab staff moves at a glacial pace. I guess that they are going to be there anyway so they figure why hurry?.
By 3:25 it was clear that this was not going to happen today. This is absolutely inexcusable! The doctors are great but what the patients have to put up with is barely worth it.

Terrible. If you're looking for an OBGYN go anywhere but here. The employees are highly disappointing. Very very rude staff, don't even bother speaking to the front desk lady. She is a nightmare. I asked her one question and got so much attitude. The facility is dirty. And they make you feel like they don't care about you in the slightest in this place. I've seen pregnant women be treated in a dry demeanor and talked down to. There is absolutely no decency or common courtesy here. Shameful behavior.
