I recently had an experience that raised concerns about the billing practices here. After receiving my test results, I was contacted for a follow-up call that I hadn’t requested. This brief call, merely to repeat information I already knew, was charged as a full appointment—a surprising and unwelcome addition to my bill.

What’s more, during my visit, I never actually met the doctor, despite her being present in the office. It’s quite surprising to schedule an appointment with a physician and not see them in person.

Dr. Sargeant has been my mother-in-laws primary physician for several years now. We have been very pleased with the care provided and immediate attention to health issues that have come up through the years. Dr. Sargeant is respectful and patient.

The worst doctor ever, the billing practices are unethical, i had the worst experience here because of a mistake in their end but they didn’t admit it and required to do the test all over again on my own expense, i tried to explain it to the employees but every time they go to this greedy doctor they come back with the same answer “we are not responsible and if you needed to do it all over again you have to pay again” it surprises me how someone practicing a high profession but still hungry for money in unethical ways.
Never go there if you have an immigration case 🚨👎

Dr. Sargeant is thorough and takes time to listen to you. I felt heard and understood from the very first visit. Finally a doctor that sees the person and not a number.

I scheduled an appointment through Zocdoc. Received texts confirming and reminding me of my appointment leading up to the appointment. I had to arrange childcare. When I arrived, the receptionist said they see my appointment on their Zocdoc calendar but not in their office calendar so I would have to reschedule. They insisted that they called me. But when I said that I never received a call or had voicemail, the receptionist said that I’m supposed to call the office before the appt.

This just doesn’t add up. If you don’t have time to waste, I suggest you try a doctor’s office that can keep an appt as scheduled. Terrible customer service!

I’m posting this review on behalf of my partner who I went with to support. We really thought Dr. Sargent was going to listen to my partners health concerns but we were met with a Doctor who did not listen to any of our concerns and ultimately physically hurt my partner while we tried to tell her that due to her unique conditions that she couldn’t perform the specific stretches she was asking her to do. When I voiced my concern (I was there to help) she would not so politely tell me to be quiet as she proceeded to exacerbate my partners condition. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone suffering from any rare conditions (especially EDS or POTS) as Dr Sargent does not listen to patient concerns.

Hands down favorite doctor I've ever worked with. She explains everything in such fine detail and in a way you can comprehend. The staff is friendly (Even if short answered, that's okay! They're busy people.), everyone is understanding, and I can confidently say Dr. Sargeant is well-qualified and overeducated. Ended up switching my partner and my elderly family member to her, in which she's provided prompt and thorough care each time to all of us. 10/10 can trust her to take care of my family and I.

I love Dr Sargent. She’s the first doctor that actually listened to my concerns, sometimes it’s a bit of “I did a search in WebMD” and she calms me down without talking down to me. She might sound like she rushes through some appointments, but not before answering all your concerns with thoughtful responses. She’s a busy doctor, and it’s a busy office. I’ve never had to wait unreasonably.

I moved to Long Beach and I tried multiple PCPs closer and it’s just not worth it. We would rather make the drive than lose her.
