I have had several negative interactions with the the front office staff- being unprofessional, discussion personal issues in front of myself and other patients in the waiting room and being generally unfriendly. I have waited on hold for up to 40 minutes to schedule appointments, multiple times, and also had phone calls telling me appoints have been rescheduled to only one day/time without asking if it works for my schedule.
I was in the office for a quick procedure after having my appointment rescheduled to a time that worked better for Dr Rojany. The office staff made it clear that if I arrived late my appointment would be rescheduled. I arrived 30 minutes early and was brought back to an exam room 20 minutes before my appointment. I was asked to remove my clothing and sit on the exam table and I reminded the tech that I was early and preferred not to wait and extra 20 minutes on the table if the dr wasn’t available until my appointment but I was told to proceed and that the dr would be notified that I was there. I sat on the table under a paper blanket for 78 minutes and no one came into update me. I’m so I called the front desk and asked for an update. I was told that Dr had set back and was expected in the next 5 minutes. It was another 20 minutes before the Dr came in. All I asked for was to be treated with human decency, an update or “maybe you would be more comfortable sitting in a chair” instead of feet dangling off the exam table while undressed in a room with no information. Medical professionals forget that patients have experienced previous traumas and all forget to have a therapeutic approach. Compassion and human decency would be appreciated, but treating a patient like an animal is not cool. If I hadn’t had other negative experiences with the staff In This office, I’d probably be more understanding of the delay, but it wasn’t a one off thing.

I attended this follow up appt a little hesitantly as I was hoping to see Dr. Simon and not the NP. Luckily it turned out that Jessica has a very good bedside manner. She was friendly, knowledgeable about my issues, and provided all the answers to my questions and concerns.

Worst office staff and most unorganized facility. After waiting 6 months for an appointment for a doctor I have seen before, I got a message that the doctor had a conference and I needed to reschedule. I tried several times to reschedule. The office staff said they would call me back numerous times and never did. I can’t comment on the quality of care, but if you can’t EVER get a simple appointment I strongly recommend going elsewhere. From reading the reviews there is an obvious trend that the office staff is incompetent and uncaring. I will never go back and if someone asks, I tell them the truth. Luckily I have found an excellent doctor with a great staff in Thousand Oaks. Unfortunately I can’t get treatment in my hometown.

So far my experience with all of the physicians in the oxnard office have been great. They are compassionate, thorough and understanding when treating my clients. The women at the front desk are very unprofessional and rude. Alot of times they are loudly discussing their personal business while some of us are out there waiting to get checked in. There was one particular time I can recall that was by far the worst experience with them. I took a client for an appt that he had waited 6 months for and arrived 10 minutes early. I stood waiting to check in for about 30 min while the woman at the front desk made multiple phone calls to patients canceling and rescheduling all their appts. When I approached the window again to ask if there was a problem and tried to make them aware that our appt time had now past, the woman was rude and told me to sit down and wait with no explanation. An hour later after our scheduled appt, she finally called me to the window to let me know that they had canceled my clients appt right then and there. She also said that they had tried to call to notify me several times but there was no answer. I had no missed calls or voicemails from them. I really hope they work on their work ethic and professionalism.

It used to be a great medical group until Unio took over. I was told in early September to contact the office in October to schedule a follow up appointment for my October 21st CT Scan. I called in October several times, left messages to return calls. Never happened. I called today four times before I finally got a human to talk to. The earliest I can get in to find out the results is February. I'm thinking because I'm on Medicare, I'm being put on the back burner. Is this what socialized medicine is going to look like in the future

I had a fantastic experience at my first time visit to Unio Specialty Care. I didn’t have to go through a stack of medical forms to fill out, because that was all done beforehand at my leisure with their online system. Jessica was great! Not only is she friendly and comfortable, she gave some important information regarding my current medical situation. Then, Dr. Guan came in and helped me some more by explaining the upcoming procedures and why I may be having the systems I’m having due to my past surgeries . He also gave me specific instructions on how I’m supposed to be taking a particular medication I’ve been on for years. Everyone there treated me with the utmost care and concern. I’m very happy I’ve started this new relationship!

Dr Rojani is amazing! Super straightforward and kind hearted doctor, i would give 5 stars but one of the receptionist was unwelcoming and just didn’t seem very kind. Talked with a very “it’s your problem not mine” attitude when we asked about scheduling a follow up appointment.
