We have been taking our son here for over 8 years and feel he has had excellent care. The doctors talk knee to knee to us and are companionate, funny, and informative with him. Admittingly, the front desk staff can come across as quite disparaging and discourteous, but they do have a lot of responsibility on their plate. I would give the front desk staff a 2-3 but the doctors make up for it with a definite 5 stars!

Saw the bad reviews and was worried but being as I needed a provider for my daughter immediately upon moving here I requested tricare assign us there. Front desk people are pleasant, intake staff treats us well, and NP Kristen Rentfrow is amazing as far as I can tell. We have seen her several times with two of our girls and she is so great with them! I don’t see us moving anytime soon from this clinic!

Can confirm they do not answer phones. Also 1.5 YEARS out for new patient physicals / appointments. So if you need help December of 2026 they are ready.

My daughter has been a patient with Kristen Rentfrow for about 5 years now. We followed her out to Vail after she left Marana Health a couple of years ago. After my 6-year-old daughter and I were rear ended and the vehicle totaled, they refused to see her. I had taken her to TMC ER 2-3 days after accident with c/o belly pain. After belly pain was resolved a change in behavior was noticed 6 days after accident. I called to get an appointment as I needed a referral for my daughter to talk to someone with these sudden changes in behavior. After 40 minutes on phone was informed because she was in a car accident that they would not see her. They recommended I go to ER, urgent care or Concentra. I informed them they would not give me referral and was just told "sorry" My poor daughter to this date is still waiting for an appointment with new provider to get referral needed. As for who is to blame Kristen Rentfrow or United Community Health center, I am unsure. Either way I will never use this provider or center again.

Staff is not friendly and registering as a new patient took an act by Congress. Howver, the PA I saw was good.

This is a wonderful medical practice. I have been going here for at least 5 yrs, I never ever have a problem getting an appointment. I always have my calls returned with true care and concern. Nancy always listens to me and gives me answers when I give her questions. The front desk has always been wonderfully polite and caring. The medical staff has been so willing to help, they go overboard to help me feel cared for. There has never been a time that I did not receive a call back for any problem, especially when I suffered Shingles. I have always received immediate referrals when needed. My prescriptions have not only been quickly refilled, but if I had any problems with the pharmacy, the office immediately had the prescription filled elsewhere. This is truly a Medical Office from heaven. Comfort, care, and responsibility is all I've ever received from this practice. From the front desk, to the inside medical staff, to Nancy, and all other offices within the practice, United Community Health Center really is the best! Thank you so much for ALWAYS being there when I needed you, and to know you will always be there for me in the future as well!!! Well done to each and everyone who is a part of MY health care group. Love you all!!!

Eileen at the counter was the only reason I didn't end up causing a scene she worked with me seeing the frustrating situation I was in. With two sick babies and a month ahead appointment scheduled.
I couldn't get in because my new baby didn't get us sent the new patient paperwork. When there was a whole month prior I could of filled it out instead I had to sit in the appointment watch other people grab the available appts. When I finally quickly finished the paperwork they sent me to vail.

The lady I had scheduled with had not given me any information prior and could of had me prepared instead I had to miss my appointment, and get sent to another location....

This is a really fantastic clinic with a super friendly staff that goes above and beyond anything you would normally imagine! Our family has used this clinic for the last 5+ years and they have been really great. It’s always easy to schedule an appointment, they run on time, and everyone there is so nice. Nancy has been so great and I don’t know of any other physician that stays late on a Friday night to send over a prescription. I just appreciate them!!
