I "was" a patient of Docor Tentchavez for many years. but since they split into two buildings the clerical have been
#1 very rude to me, and my wife when she calls
#2 never bill me or tell me there are past due amounts for labs until 4-5 months later when I show up to a appointment thry hit me with paying it!
#3 called two days before my last appointment , receptionist never picked up!
I mean you got women moving all over in that office one of them couldn't pick up the phone ? Left a message to reschedule Noone called me to set that up missed the appointment! Guess I'll get billed for that sometime around June 2025

Dr T is a nice man I hate I had to find another doctor but these 3 things was enough.

You all have been warned so many doctors offices to chose from do not chose one with mismanaged office staff , billing staff because that's apart of the visit

I used to have better experiences with this clinic but in recent years things have been really bad. The providers don't listen and make quick decisions about your condition that are often wrong. I often feel like my medical care is no longer a priority. I have been repeatedly referred to specialist and waited months for treatment to be told these were issues that could have been treated by my family doctor. It's disappointing to pay money for medical care only to be treated dismissively.

Took my son here last month when he was sick because our regular doctor stopped allowing walk-in patients. They were all very friendly and got us in and out in a short amount of time.

Hard to get someone answer the phone sometimes. REALLY hard to get note to nurse or for nurse to get note to Dr. Dr. Valadez ROCKS!! I love her care of me.

If I could rate my experience -5 , I would. Since the change in clinics. The quality of care has regressed drastically. Dr tenchavez, is not thorough with the patients he does whatever he can to get them in and out. Miranda the CRNP does not care about the patients.. She makes you feel like a burden and then rushes the appointment and disregards questions you have about your health. I called yesterday asking if I could have lab results the women over the phone insisted that I could pick up my lab results today. I made a 45 minute drive to boaz to get them. I got there and they didn’t leave anything and told me to come get them another day. Like I hadn’t asked specifically if it was okay if I can get them when I got off that day. And had called multiple times to see if it was ready and they insisted it was ready whenever I was. All around the staff is inattentive and dr gaspar is the only provider there that cares about his patients we aren’t just a check to him.

If you have a loved one that goes here and they need physical therapy or nursing home placement, these people don't get in any hurry to send the referral. They DO NOT CARE!

Had a good experience with the nurse practitioner but called back to get a doctors note for 1 day of not being able to work with bronchitis and whoever was working then (not the same provider) was so rude and would not provide a note for work. Kept saying that it was bc the provider I saw was not there and I know for a fact that this shouldn’t have been the case. I have never had issues with getting a note for work for a day with any other office and was not trying to take advantage of anyone but they made me feel this way.
