I have been to the in-person clinic once. I was late by a few minutes but the front desk person didn’t mind & loved that I completed the pre-visit check-in so all she had to do was confirm my ID & insurance cards. I waited about 15 minutes, it was a nice day outside so it wasn’t bad. The triage nurse was nice but I have bad reactions at the doctors & he was very understanding & helped me out which I appreciated so much. Dr. Michael is amazing. She really cares for her patients, listens to my concerns & has really helped me when I was in a very dark place. They have made me some accommodations because of my issues & I am eternally grateful. Thank you care staff team!

The girl at the front desk is the most disrespectful healthcare worker I’ve ever came across. She puts blue contacts in her eyes I wish I got her name. I asked for some direction on where to find my appointment as it was my first time in the new building and she just stared at me like I was stupid. She then makes this disgusting face and says “uh the stairs duh” . So unprofessional and rude makes you never want to return. I had a similar experience with someone who answered the phone to make an appointment for me. She sighed immediately upon picking the phone up and acted as if I was stupid for calling to ask about an appointment and said I was “wasting her time”. Besides this the actual doctor and her nurse were amazing I wish I remember their names.

I had an appointment at the USF Health Services with Dr. Naima Stennett, MD (I would recommend asking for a different doctor). I mentioned my ear and throat were both bothering me and I suspected an ear infection of some sort. She checked my ear and could not see anything due to ear wax. She said she would send someone in to clean it and they can relook (she did not send anyone). She then looked at my throat and suspected I had strep throat, so she went to get a test so she could swab my throat. She tried once and said my tongue was making it difficult so she did not bother actually testing me because it was too much of an inconvenience I guess. Then she said she would just prescribe me antibiotics because that is what she thought would help my symptoms without anything to base it on. I am not sure what the hiring process for doctors here is but clearly the standards are very low.

I recently had a wonderful appointment with Dr. Naima Stennett. She was incredibly kind, and it was evident that she genuinely cares for her patients' well-being. I've always hoped to find a primary care physician who doesn't just focus on immediate concerns but also prioritizes my overall health, and Dr. Stennett exceeded my expectations in that regard. Even though I am graduating I still look forward to working with her

Honestly if you are treated by Charlene Eveet Johnson just get a second opinion. She is rude and disrespectful. I told her that I have a specific medical condition which I have been treated for my whole life and she was talking about it in quotation marks as if I did not have it. Charlene also wrote untrue statements in my chart. I do not have tonsils. I have not had them since I was two. During my visit Charlene did not look into my mouth, felt my lymph nodes, or looked into my ears. Her physical exam consisted of her listening to my chest with her stethoscope. Yet in my chart she states numerous findings which could not be found without performing an actual physical exam. I will be filling a formal complaint against Ms. Johnson and will seek care somewhere else due to the disrespect and lack of care I experienced during my visit.

I normally have had such good experiences with this place the nurses are super nice and Julie trinadel is an angel. But my recent experience from today was horrible. I came in and my symptoms were chills and hot flashes, a sore throat with coughing, Tight chest, bad body aches, headache and lightheaded. I didn’t sleep last night because of the amount of pain I was in. The nurse practitioner I saw, Charleen Johnson didn’t listen to a word I said. She refused to give me a flu test when I asked because she insisted I had indigestion and told me to not eat so late and to take tums. When I have no symptoms of indigestion. I told a different doctor that I would like a flu test and she went over my symptoms and was in awe that Charleen Johnson told me it was indigestion . Such a joke. She was spoken to by the assistant director and hopefully they did something about how careless and how she refuses to actually listen to patients. Just rude and incompetent.

This is my second and FINAL time coming here. First off they wouldn’t even give me a phone appointment even though I was vomiting excessively. I was five minutes late for my appointment due to this, and the rude front desk woman told me I’m too late. She then changed my time without telling me and I had to wait an extra 45 MINUTES while vomiting outside. This place is rundown filled with individuals who could care less about student health. The service is poor with little effort, and no sense of productivity or efficiency. I think USF is better off hiring students who are science majors than paying another dime to any of the people who work here. Do better USF, and get better people who care about our students.

My PCP at school is Dr. Friend. I’ve seen him once and will see him again today but he was very professional and good to me when I saw him my first time. Nothing unnecessary was recommended to me and no costs were charged to me that were not discussed. As a student, I do not pay for office visits and I think that’s a GREAT thing.
The ladies at the desk are hit or miss but I tend to have decent experiences with them and the nurses. Over the phone, they’re usually accommodating.
My women’s health doctor is Burroughs. She’s very kind however told me I had Something one time and then prescribed me a cream that caused highly adverse reactions. When I went back due to the cream, she told me it was razor burn or acne, not what she told me I had. Kind of embarrassing to me..
I usually have no problems, other than walk ins are stated that they are welcome but typically if you walk in, it’ll be 4+ hours before you’re seen. Not their fault, just make sure you make an appointment as walk-ins wouldn’t be guaranteed.
