The entire staff on Dr. Akelman’s Team provide a level of medical care that should be a model for Best Practices. Scheduling is seamlessly delivered by Dr. Akelman’s administrative assistant Elise. Follow up care is compassionately provided by his PA Alexandra. And Dr. Akelman is probably the only surgeon who is not only uniquely brilliant in the area of medicine but has a Hollywood personality. You ALWAYS leave the office feeling good about yourself! Mike know his profession extremely well. He's very knowledgeable, explains everything & is super friendly. He's truly made something that was an extremely upsetting injury a lot easier to recover from just by being an incredible provider that really cares.

Keri is an excellent physical therapist who really cares about your needs. She implemented many options to ease my pain and was very empathetic. She is very personable and took the time to explain everything to me including what a difficult surgery I had and that it would be a long healing process. I recommend her highly and if I should need pt again I will definitely ask for her.

Saw Kassandra for the first time today after a preliminary with a different pt a week ago. Very friendly, seemed very knowledgeable and efficient. She did her best to answer my questions although until there are results, it may be difficult to actually provide an accurate rating other than how I was reacted to as a patient. In this event, she deserves a 5-star rating. As a solution to my aggravated pain, there can be no rating this early.

I am so happy that he treated me several years ago for a cat bite infection. He listens to my issues and is very careful to treat them appropriately. I will always depend on his care when I need it.
