This is my first time receiving treatment and the whole process from booking my flight to Florida up to my discharge date has been handled carefully and considerably. Not only have I felt extremely cared for by the dedicated staff but I have made really good connections with staff and other clients. This is a place I definitely recommend.

I don't know how to begin sharing my gratitude for this place. I extended my stay 4 more days because I love this place so much. If you want to heal and get better, this place is exemplary in the care provided. The therapists and facilitators are keen on helping you cope. The psychiatrists use state of the art DNA testing to give you the best medicine for your condition. The Operations Team go above and beyond duty to not only pamper you, but are always giving a loving ear...and always with a smile no matter what they are going through. They always show up no matter what!

This place is not for a vacation or retreat. You won't have access to your phone, laptop or any electronics when you are here. All you get to do here is focus on yourself...with caring staff that will do your laundry, cater and serve you 3 meals, get you snacks, do your laundry, clean up the whole place, go on store runs, give you meds...all while encouraging you.

I am 1000% better than before I came in. Thank you soooo much URP for helping me get better.

I just got back from URP. It was a little bit better than the psych ward I stayed at over two years ago in some ways. Way 1, the obvious that it's in Florida with warm weather two out of the three remaining weeks I had getting treatment. Way 2, nice property with lounge chairs in the nicotine and non-nicotine areas, a ping pong area and basketball area. Way 3 I love the mitered air conditioning vents due to the obsession I have with miter frames. Way 4, Sarah the Alumni coordinator is a wonderful lady to do game nights every Wednesday and she gave me the opportunity to add rooms for improvement for better treatment which I will dive into after listing the positives. Way 5, Clinical Director Dr. Katina Thompson was knowledgeable, funny and like Sarah, a very easy approachable person to talk to when there is something up. Way 6 Elaine, the art and music therapist was magnificent. Unfortunately, the first week was a crappy week weather wise and I missed my first opportunity to do art therapy because of postnasal drip issues with tons of congestion, but the two out of the three therapies were very beneficial. Week two everybody was working on our collages then two days ago we worked on the leaves on a tree as issues for improvement, the fallen leaves represented things I achieved as a crazy twist and the roots represented the areas of support. The music therapy was relaxing, and I do have songs that sounded catchy but represented trust, love and forgiveness which are things I am currently motivated to do because of not only that therapy but times I spent with Dr. Thompson and Dr. Birdie. Way 6, peers treat others struggling with respect and comfort including me. Way 7 a fantastic social environment amongst the peers making me look forward to alumni night in 16 days! Areas of improvement/cons. The prohibited items list needs to be updated because I didn't see anything about spiraled books being prohibited as Con one. Con two no pool. Thank God, I wasn't the only one who complained about that on day two other patients brought their swim attire for nothing, and I was expecting a pool for therapeutical and aerobic purposes. Con 3, there was no tour given to me just knowing where my room is from the operations manager. Con 4 miscommunications amongst staff were very high 24/7. There should be clear collaboration between staff members and patients especially when it comes to contraband items such as the spiral books because I gave up a mini sketchpad, my spiral sketchbook and spiral notebook with a wrong page ripped out with sensitive information. I reminded three staff members, Daniel, Stefan and Chris about needing those last-minute things to be packed. Guess what? They're still at URP and on top of that, you have to pack your belongings on your own without them reminding you what's required to be in the carry-on bags. At the Palm Beach airport, I had to surrender my soaps and toothpaste due to them not in a carry-on. I requested tea and probiotic yogurts to be on the food run a few times at the beginning of this week. They blew it and kept saying it wilwoulme on Tuesday and Wednesday, and they never came. I was very clear that I wasn't lactose intolerant, but had acid reflux and stomach in jeopardy each morning since December of 2022 and that I need bland foods with good probiotics. Th only good was they got the oat milk for me to drink. Night one they didn't consider getting my wallet with my original roommate snoring loudly with me having chest wall pain and an anxiety attack to go to the hospital with my insurance cards nor told me where my luggage would be. Con 5, T mentioned to me that while group is in session no patient is supposed to be outside unless with their assigned therapist two days ago. Con 6 admissions did not send the URP my information food sensitivities to which I was told not on day one but a week later, I mentioned the morning dairy issue and nobody said go to nursing for that when I arrived. Con 7 long group therapies except nursing group with a lack of self productive time.

I arrived at URP 90 days ago for mental health and substance disorder. The facility was clean. Well organized group therapy and activities. The staff went above and beyond to help, support and educate me while I was there. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

I came to URP Behavioral last year in order to overcome both mental health and substance use disorder. The facility was comfortable and clean with plenty of staff available at any time of day. I received excellent one on one therapy and the group facilitators were amazing. Their approach to recovery covered every base and I left feeling healed and confident and ready to face my life with hope. If you are struggling with mental health issues I can’t recommend URP enough. They still check up on me regularly and really do care about the clients they help begin a better life.

Billed as a "luxury rehab", be prepared for your loved one to have only three 15 min phone calls per week while getting no updates from case workers. The only time a case worker reached out (despite numerous attempts) was to verify insurance coverage. We could have used compassion and communication during this time. Family therapy is not with a neutral counselor but rather with someone the patient sees one on one. We had a better experience after transfer to another facility.

I did this program for 21 days.It changed my entire life.It is the best program out there in my opinion just off of what i've heard from others and my personal experience if your about to go anywhere I suggest this place it's so worth the effort and the staff spisficly Chris and Daniel and Rob they are the bomb.com if you want something that is going to help this is the place

Love this place! Be prepared for it to be like other residential places where you dont have your phone or certain belongings without permission and supervision, but you habe access to great TVs and a super nice patio that everyone hangs out on. Most of the staff are super nice, witj a couple exceptions, but its seriously worth it. And the teachers are the best in the county!
