Ladies remember we are in charge of our medical care if you are not satisfied you must advocate for yourself, get an ultrasound if a mammogram shows something, they can usually do it right away or that is protocol at all major mammography centers, mass general, Beth Israel, Mayo, it's a very common thing to see lumps in women as we get older, fatty tissue is usually the culprit but never wait. Be calm and say no that is unexcepataboe because if it is Cancer a month is inappropriate medical care and neglecting a possibly urgent situation. Stay calm, health care and workers are overwhelmed under paid and over worked. Have compassion while being your own medical advocate. Have a Bless day, stay strong, be kind.

I gave these people so many chances and they literally messed up every single time. They are unprofessional, unorganized with scheduling, always running behind. No one communicates with patients, like we don’t have nothing else to do than sitting there. It’s a huge waste of time. They canceled me 3 times on the day of appointment, they changed my PD 4 times with random doctors back and forth. I am just sick and tired. You can believe to this review or not, but save yourself and go somewhere else!

2.5 ? 2.5!! I am nearly 69 years old and I have NEVER had such success with health care providers as I have experienced here. From the staff at the desk to the providers themselves, they are awesome. I have had a number of 'I need to get there soon' issues and they have accommodated me every single time I needed them. I can't say enough good things about VMG-Amherst. I'm glad I have them.

The doctors there are good very good that's what my experience, however everything else about Valley Medical Center is not great at all. If you have a cough they will refuse to see you and tell you to go to a different doctor somewhere else. If you ask me that's absolutely absurd that's what doctors are for to see you when you are sick But also their hold times on the phone are extremely long to reach a representative. You can't even call billing without having to leave a message and they get back to you days later.

The people who complained about the receptionist rushing them off the phone are correct! Dr. Vicraman is good, caring but come on-the receptionist have been polite to me but mostly they act like I'm torturing them by taking 30 seconds of ''their time' by asking them a couple important questions concerning postponing apointments.

You can’t even see a doctor or a nurse practitioner, apparently everything is handles by med students?! After they asked if a student could accompany the doctor during my appointment, the student came in alone, asked a few questions and gaslit me, downplaying my symptoms and refusing to preform any test because “it’s probably nothing and I’m probably most likely almost over it anyway”. This was after 3 last minute cancellations on their part resulting in wasted time off work. The most unprofessional office, and I’ve been going here my entire adult life. I’ve watched it go downhill in a way that they should not be allowed to call themselves a practice. Borderline a scam at this point to just bill your insurance. You leave questioning whether you were making everything up, I needed a relative to tell me that’s called gaslighting. I know what gaslighting is, just never imagine it would happen at my doctors.

Honestly, I don’t know what medical center the other people who are reviewing here went to but it wasn’t valley medical! I’ve never had anything but excellent care here In every department. My primary care physician Tina Furculo is fabulous. She explains everything, and has clear plans which she follows through with. She is easy to contact. She either calls or leaves a message through the patient portal. She is very knowledgeable with easy to understand explanations. She also very caring. The nurse practitioners I have seen have been very helpful. I went to John P. , an excellent PT. He was caring with wonderful skills.

I’m very impressed that if something is ordered like x-ray or physical therapy that department will contact me quickly to set up an appointment. I never have to wait long in any department.

If I need to be seen quickly, reception is always able to find someone to see me If Tina is unavailable.

I would recommend Valley Medical Group to anyone.

I have been going there for over 15 years and it's never been good. Now, with that said, they're definitely are some really good people working here, surprisingly my phone/appointment experience has always been pleasant. I hate to lump some of the good people who work hard and do their jobs like they're supposed to in this bad review (sorry!). But overall the care I've received there leaves me shaking my head. It's surprisingly bad and almost reliably bad for me. I now am 47, and although healthy, I plan to go somewhere else now that I will probably go for more frequent check-ups and things. Good luck to all who need to get their health care needs met at this establishment. Double check any judgements or decisions the doctors make there. For a professional opinion is exactly why I need a doctor in the first place, but now I only use them for very predictable things that they can't mess up (hopefully not) like a referral or a strep test etc.. Sorry again to the hard-working minority that do their jobs. You rise up anyway above and it shows.
