I had a difficult time in outpatient scheduling. I had written orders from a Montgomery specialist for a follow up cancer ultrasound & chest X-ray. Out patient scheduling refused to accept the order and told me the specialist had to personally call to schedule. Belle in X ray was very helpful in assisting me by calling someone in outpatient scheduling, a huge help to me. I'm I have same tests every 6 mos. I eventually got them done but my physician never got ultrasound report done on 6/29/24 but did get x ray report done on 6/24/24. This has never been a problem until dates above.

The absolute WORST!! I just left from being there 3.5 hours and was in the lobby the entire time besides getting X-rays. I have SEVERE pain in my right leg from a fall, I can barely walk and bear weight on it. I was told it’s a muscle strain and to rotate Tylenol and ibuprofen. I waited 3.5 hours to be told to rotate Tylenol and ibuprofen!! That is absolutely ridiculous, I wasn’t offered a shot for pain or even a muscle relaxer to help with pain. He didn’t even say if I start to feel worse come back or etc. I left the same way I came and that is absurd, no one should be in this much pain and basically be told to do nothing to relieve the pain.

ER staff was excellent and worked quickly, they were kind and efficient. Dr. Hicks diagnosed and explained my condition so that my husband and I understood what was happening and how it should be treated. He started tmt in ER. X-ray staff worked quickly and they were friendly and professional. Floor nurses were friendly and kind. They worked quickly and kept me informed. The ER looked clean and well kept! But the bathroom needed attention! Caked dirt around the baseboard, plus a black wet portion of a weave/hair on the floor. The room had no pillows, blankets, tray table, or Imed. The nurses were quick to put the room back together. I was late getting a room and missed supper so the nurses offered a Lean Cuisine meal from their fridge which I ate. I can't say anything neg about the nursing staff they were great.

Went to the ER. They didn’t do anything for me. After my visit , they billed me and my mother. I have my own insurance . Why would you bill my mother ? I don’t know who the lady at the front desk was, but she isn’t doing her job right. Avoid Vaughn if you can.

I visited the er on April 28, 2024 for severe neck n right shoulder blade pain. The only thing they done was give me two shots in my hip in the triage room and sent me home. 2 days later I went to pratville hospital where they said I had a severe kidney infection that was almost in my bloodstream and I could've been hospitalized.. if Vaughn medical center had ran the proper tests they could've caught the issue but they rushed me out the hospital as if I didn't have insurance.

I went to the emergency room due to cutting my hand and requiring stitches. The emergency staff was busy, but did a good job.

Worst hospital I have ever been to in my entire life. Waiting almost 4 hours with a child and nurses just keep passing by with no updates. You all really need to work on your customers service because it sucks. Your nurses have very nasty attitudes and need new professions because they lack compassion. I was told I should've just went to Montgomery by a nurse, which was clearly unprofessional. I will not be back. I would rather drive 45 minutes to another city.
