They are their own biggest fans. They have no clue what they are doing, don't have common goals among themselves, aides think they are and call themselves "nurses". They don't know and don't care about patients' culture. They foster a secretive protocol, do NOT benefit, comprehend patients, their illness(s), and believe in doping them up upon entrance and slowly reducing meds. We can do that at home. Staff knows nothing about mental illness, patient rights, appropriate diagnosis, TX and care. Put them out of business and find real professionals who can diagnose properly and obtain help for them that is more than nonsense endless groups, pervasive over medication and real professionals with experience and standards instead of idiotic babysitters. They should be ashamed of themselves. They should be investigated. They are shameful and shamefully unprofessional. County facilities are NEVER very good.

My 5 stars are solely related to the impeccable care from nurse Desiree and Steve who are absolute assets to the care your loved ones might need. Gayla was very helpful as well!

Dr Katherine makes me very uncomfortable with the crazy things she is promoting on social media about a genocide and being ok with it. Very shameful behavior from a doctor who is supposed to help people. I would not trust her near me.

Try at all cost to get your loved one somewhere else or get a second opinion on the drugs prescribed for when they leave. My brother was in there for one month and was released, totally out of it and drugged up. He died in his sleep 3 days later (11/30/20) at 46 years old. This center does not care about the souls that they are supposed to help.

This is not a psychiatric facility it is temporary housing for homeless drug addicts who are detoxing. If you do not fall under these parameters they will not help you even if you come in on a hold for suicide. They lost my purse and I had to discharge myself when I deeply needed help to avoid identity fraud. They never recorded I had a purse.

Went visit my boyfriend's brother. They say visiting hours begin at 5:30pm on weekdays, but at 6:10pm they still hadn't let us (and other people there to visit their loved ones) in. Apparently this lateness is the norm, not the exception. On top of that they said they lock the bathrooms after 5pm. Hello? During tge alreadu tok short visitor hours window? We had to leave and never got to visit. πŸ™ I also heard some of the staff can be VERY rude and not forthcoming with info about your loved one, as well as giving different answers to the same question. The place definitely needs help with running professionally, and being kind and considerate. I'm concerned about the welfare of my boyfriend's brother in this place. πŸ™

All I can say, is your treatment center is considered better than New York. Amanda should have gotten help sooner. But Iam glad that she is there to get help she desperately needed. I hope she gets back to her old self where she belongs. Tell Amanda i will be sending her get well card.
You Doctors, do your best and help her, she really needs it. PS, put her in MRI for brain scan, for any signs of problems. Thank you, and yours truly,. The poet. To be or not to be, that is the question.?
