I wholeheartedly recommend this facility! From the very first phone call I made with TONS of questions, to every single time I have called since then, the customer service I have received has been *outstanding*. They are patient, caring, and very empathetic with an honest desire to help you & your pet. The facility is clean, their equipment is up to date, and the doctors are super personable and communicative. My first experience with this clinic was to bring my dog in for PennHip & OFA radiographs in early 2022 (I drove up from Los Angeles after researching many different facilities, if that tells you anything). Most recently, I was on a camping vacation in the area and had a veterinary emergency with one of my dogs, and when I called they were completely booked with appointments but made time to see my boy due to the nature of the injury. It was close to closing time, but they did not make me feel rushed or that my dog’s care was compromised by this at all. I was able to take tremendous comfort in knowing the care that my dog was receiving
For the record, I have a lifetime of work experience in the veterinary field, most recently coming up on my 18th year at a very large Veterinary Specialty and Emergency hospital in Los Angeles, so I am very aware of what good and bad customer service/medicine looks like. Veterinary Medical Center is an absolute gem among veterinary hospitals, and the people who live in this area are unbelievably fortunate to have access to such quality services and care for their pets. My only regret is that I don’t live closer.

Our pets have been patients here for 30+ years. Absolutely love Sharon Klintworth and Brad Holstein. They have always taken wonderful care of our fur babies. They explain every situation well and if one has to stay you are welcome to come visit. We currently have 5 cats, 1 dog and 6 chickens.

We were referred to Dr. DeClue by a friend and we are so happy we found her. She was kind, honest, and thorough. We recently had an exam with her after being given the run around with our last vet clinic. We live 30 minutes away from her office but are happy to keep making the drive in order to get honest and compassionate care. Best part is they are actually taking and everyone at the office was fantastic. Definitely would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing vet.

We Love this Veterinary Medical Center!!! There is so much compassion, caring, and love there! They treat your furry companion like their own. Our Kitty actually liked going there! My dog trainer recommended this place to me for their variety of specialty training supplies for my anxious dog. I live in Atascadero and had no idea they were here. They have a great selection at prices that are often less than what I saw online--and are well-stocked. They also have friendly, knowledgeable staff. Definitely the best in all North county.

I have been with this clinic for over 10 years. All of the vets have been very kind and supportive with all of our animal family members and with the human ones too. Our animals have received excellent care and I have never thought twice about taking them to this clinic. We have seen all phases of care for our many dogs and cats - the best of times and the hardest. We have always been in the best of hands here. Having supplies next door helps too.
