My husband was there for 6 weeks for rehabilitation. All the staff and PT staff were friendly and helpful.
Even though the facility is older, it was always clean. The food was OK, standard facility food. They followed his dietary needs and any special requests we asked for. We would definately recommend Victoria Post Acute Care.

Do not allow your loved one to go here unless you are available to micromanage every detail of their care. The staff here will do the BARE MINIMUM. The place is dirty and smells. It’s also a very noisy and abrasive environment. My elderly mother is deteriorating rapidly under their care. I’m actively trying to get her placed into another facility. She’s wheelchair bound and they had her in a room that was inaccessible. She also has not had access to a wheelchair accessible bathroom so they are forcing her to use a bedpan. She pushes the fall button and no one comes to help her. She went weeks without receiving a bath. The environment is inhumane and removes all dignity. It’s depressing and disgusting to see my mother treated like an inconvenience and number. No one is focusing on her healing and recovery.

My experience is all the staff nursing are amazing I have been very blessed the facility treats you like family the place is very clean they have a wonderful medical team as well as physical therapy I would recommend this place to anyone the head administrator runs the place very well I’m speaking from experience I’m very happy I’m getting the best care

My mom stayed at this facility for 5 weeks while recovering from a severe bacterial infection. The staff were absolutely lovely. The nurses always kept myself and siblings informed on my moms progress. My mom was offered fun and creative activities to spend her day. We especially loved the kitchen staff; each and every one of them were so kind and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend sending a loved one here

The Victoria Post Acute Care facility is incredible! The staff are so sweet and I felt very comfortable leaving my family member in their care! Being across the country had me nervous at first but the communication back and forth about her care was consistent and thorough. I always felt in the know, which was perfect for my family and I! 5 stars all the way!

This is by great lengths the most substandard care facility I’ve ever experienced. It’s filthy; medical care is negligible; the food is atrocious (with no regard for critical dietary needs); service animals can defecate at will right outside patient rooms with no clean up; necessary scheduled care can be flatly denied; Covid precautions are not enforced and Covid area is inadequately cordoned off with just a move theatre-style separator (see photo); unsatisfactory supervision of patients with dementia; even the exterior is filthy. I could say more but I hope this convinces you to keep your loved ones far away from this poorly run facility.

I cannot speak highly enough of the therapy and nursing team at Victoria Post Acute Care. When my family member suffered a hip injury, we were overwhelmed with worry. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the team provided a level of care that exceeded all expectations.

Communication was a standout strength. They took the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of our family member's treatment plan, ensuring that we were always well-informed and involved in the decision-making process. Their clear and compassionate communication helped to alleviate our worries and allowed us to focus on supporting our loved one's recovery.

Throughout the healing process, they went above and beyond to ensure not only the physical well-being of our family member but also their emotional and mental well-being. They created a warm and supportive environment where our family member felt comfortable and cared for.

The overall care provided by Dawn Thompson and her team was truly some of the best I have ever experienced. Their professionalism, expertise, and dedication to their patients set them apart. Highly recommend.
