I have worked in health care for 45 years. As a patient of Laura Lowdermilk, I am so blessed to find a competent and caring medical advocate. She takes her time during my appointment to be sure I have a complete understanding of my lab results and any other diagnostic results. My fear is she will soon retire and I will be left looking for a comparable replacement.

I don't know if I have ever encountered this much ineptitude from a doctor's office in my life before. I've been trying for the last three days to get a prescription for Norco for my 91-year-old mother, who fell and broke a rib. On the first day, Dr. Paul's assistant Trista told me that Norco is out of stock nationwide and that I should call the pharmacy to see what kind of pain medication they had on hand, and the doctor would prescribe that (this seems sketchy). I called the pharmacy and they said they did have Norco, so I called the doctor's office back and told them which pharmacy I'd called, and they said the doctor would call it in, and they called a few hours later to say that she had. The next day I went to the pharmacy to pick it up, but they had no record of it. I called the doctor's office back but they were already closed for the day. This morning (the third day) they called and said the doctor had called it in to different pharmacy (not the one I'd told her to use), so I went there to pick it up, and they said they're out of Norco and had faxed the doctor as much! When I called the doctor again, Trista seemed to think they couldn’t call a prescription in to a different pharmacy, but I insisted she pass the message on to the doctor. Dr. Paul did finally call it in, but when I went to pick it up, the pharmacist said she had called in the wrong strength (essentially Vicodin, not Norco) which no longer exists, and they can’t just fill a different strength. And by this point the doctor’s office was closed and wouldn’t open again until Monday (today is Thursday). I’ve got a call into to the after hours on-call doctor now, and we’ll see if we ever get any painkillers, or if my mom will just continue to suffer. I’m going to strongly encourage my mom to find another doctor.

Terrible Dr.. Gives meds easily never orders test EVER no matter what problems you have.. even when u tell her many times she says dont worry you will be fine.. now 2 Very close friends that trusted her for years are dying from cancer.. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I found Dr Paul to be unwilling to listen to my concerns or making any effort to even ask if I any concerns or issues. . Three times I had long-standing appointments canceled at the last minute and one appointment not even canceled until I showed up for the appointment. Overall a very unsatisfactory experience.
